Goshen College Softball General Information Goshen College Softball is proud to host its second softball mini camp under second-year head coach Lee Mast. All local high school and junior high players are invited to showcase their talents and improve their abilities with hands-on instruction alongside the 2009 Maple Leafs squad. If you are interested in taking your game to the next level, this is the clinic for you. • • Goshen College softball features former area high school standouts Sierra Van Der Keere (Jimtown HS), Danae Nafziger (Northwood HS), Jessica Reed (Centreville HS), Leah Lehman (Archbold, OH), and Kathryn Schlabach (Portland, OR).

Hitting and Pitching Clinic January 23, 2010 Hitting Sessions Hitting sessions will focus on understanding hitting techniques. Players will also be given drills that are used on campus to take home for further development. Slap hitters will have individual attention. Please bring your own bat and helmet.
Pitching Sessions Pitching sessions will include individual work outs, take home drills, and a focus on improving your strike zone. Pitchers must bring their own catchers (at no charge). There will also be infield work outs.
Instruction Coach Lee Mast is in his second year at the helm of the Goshen College program after spending the last four seasons as the head coach at Goshen High School. Mast is committed to the game of softball and providing opportunities for local student-athletes to continue their academic and athletic careers on the next level. He has more than 20 years of coaching experience – both softball and basketball – at nearly all levels of competition. Joining Mast in providing instruction at the clinics will be other members of the coaching staff and 2009 Maple Leafs squad.
