Welcome to your

New year of golf I hope this brochure finds you well at the end of what has been a challenging year for everyone, and a very stop-start one for golf! Despite the disruption, our sales and service teams helped almost 100,000 golfers to enjoy a golf break in 2020 and they have already rebooked the same number into this coming year. So, if you have a break in mind, I would recommend contacting us at the earliest opportunity to guarantee suitable tee times. We are also proud to have fully refunded any clients who no longer wished to travel in 2020, as well as completing an overhaul of both our website and branding – all largely whilst working from home!

This brochure follows on from our ‘new look’ website which is designed to be more inspirational than ever. Check it out to see all the fantastic up to date packages, offers and promotions that we have negotiated on your behalf. Throughout the past year, we have continued to focus on our core values of offering the best choice, at incredible value, with unparalleled levels of service and trust. We look forward to building on these further and providing all the flexibility you need, as we help you plan your 2021 golf break. Thank you for your continued support. Happy New Year! As The Open returns to Kent in July, follow in the footsteps of golfing greatness by taking a trip to Royal St George’s, Royal Cinque Ports and Prince’s this year. From breathtaking scenery to unbeatable resort golf, Wales has it all!

Best of Wales

H

ome to some of the UK’s most loved resort golf, Wales is the ideal location for your 2021 golf break.

Headlined by the likes of St Pierre Marriott Hotel & Country Club, The Vale and of course, The Celtic Manor, golf holidays in the UK don’t get much better than this!

Some of our favourites include Porthmadog, Royal St Davids, Abersoch and Nefyn & District with a back nine situated along the Llyn Peninsula making it the ultimate cliff-top layout.

With multiple course options at each venue, and some unbelievable off-course amenities, an incredible time is all but guaranteed wherever you choose to stay. Groups and couples alike have become hugely fond of the Hunter Lodges at Celtic Manor, allowing for a more independent break whilst looking out over scenic views of the courses.

For those looking to stay in the South, Swansea is the ideal base, with the majority of our customers staying at The Dragon Hotel – it’s perfect for discovering the city.

Looking for something a bit different? Head to The Vale and add a gin-making (and tasting!) experience to your break! Away from the resort-based courses, Wales offers an abundance of choice for Golf Tours. The links courses in the north of the country are spectacular and remain largely untouched.

Opposite: Nefyn

If you’re heading down this way then you simply must experience Wales’ highest-ranked course, Royal Porthcawl. This magnificent links is supported by the likes of Pennard, Southerndown and Ashburnham making South Wales the ideal location for the golfing purist. 1 night, B&B, 2 rounds at 5* Celtic Manor from £102.

Sensational Scotland

ome of the world’s best ‘hidden gems’ are to be found in Scotland. Base yourself in Edinburgh, Dundee or Glasgow for easy access to some unbelievable courses.

As you’d expect from the birthplace of golf, Scotland is awash with unbelievable golfing options. Universally acknowledged as The Home of Golf, St Andrews is an ideal base for your Scottish break – with the likes of Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and the newly-opened Dunbarnie Links all within easy driving distance of the seven worldfamous courses based within St Andrews itself. With a long and storied history and some of the planet’s fine st golf, St Andrews continues to be the ideal location for your first break to Scotland.

Further north, Aberdeenshire has become an increasingly popular golfing hotspot, with Trump International Golf Links adding to the quality which has long been on display at the likes of Cruden Bay, Balgownie Links and Murcar.

tackle the Open venues of Royal Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry – with the latter’s 2016 redesign propelling it to the top spot in many UK rankings. Championship golf can be found throughout Scotland but for those looking to unwind once off the course, Gleneagles’ 5* accommodation is tough to beat. With three golf courses on-site, an incredible spa and a Michelinstarred restaurant within the hotel there’s no need to leave the property. For those with some extra time to fill, speak to our sales team about adding on one of Gleaneagles’ many outdoor pursuits, including shooting, fishing, off-road driving and horse riding.

Incredible Ireland ver-increasing flight options and an unparalleled warmth of welcome makes Ireland one of our most popular destinations.

For a true Irish experience, we recommend flying into the west of Ireland and travelling down the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’, taking in authentic Irish bars in Galway and Sligo, as well as some of Europe’s best coastal golf. Whether it’s Old Head, Ballybunion, Tralee, Waterville, Dooks, County Sligo, Trump International Golf Links or Enniscrone there are big-names aplenty down Ireland’s west coast.

North of the border, the trophy courses of Royal County Down, Royal Portrush and Portstewart take much of the plaudits. However, incredible layouts are also to be found at the likes of Ardglass, Castlerock and Loch Erne. Thinking about a more resort-based break, Galgorm Castle played host to the 2020 Irish Open and is just moments from the spectacular Galgorm Resort & Spa with its tranquil setting the ideal spot to relax post-round!

For groups looking for a more resortbased break, Druids Glen and The K Club are amongst our favourite stay and play locations, with them both having played host to the Irish Open, the latter in 2016 with Rory McIlroy coming out on top.

Our Irish venues have been hand-picked by our product experts to create a hugely varied range, packed with quality throughout.

Of course, no mention of Ireland is complete without us recommending a visit to Dublin. Take in the iconic Temple Bar and Guinness Experiences after a day playing some of the extraordinary courses on Ireland’s east coast, including Royal Portmarnock, Carton House and Powerscourt.

So, whether you’re looking to make a dent in your bucket list, chill out at a fantastic resort, or have a lively Dublin-based break, we’ve always got you covered! 1 night, B&B, 2 rounds at 5* The K Club from £205.
