Tiene hoyos muy retadores con green bastante pequeños y algunos con distancias de 206/215, 215/220, 188 yardas, dependiendo de las salidas y/o colocación de las banderas.

El terreno ondulado de Las Aromas crea suaves colinas y pendientes a lo largo del campo, así como tees y greens elevados. Aunque es un campo bastante corto, los fairways estrechos, los greens pequeños y numerosas trampas lo convierten en uno de los más difíciles en el país. La Asociación PQ celebró con éxito la decimonovena versión del Torneo PQ, en el marco de un inolvidable fin de semana lleno de camaradería y colaboración. El evento inició con un Cóctel de Bienvenida en el restaurante Lago del hotel Casa de Campo, jugando los dieciocho hoyos de La Romana Country Club, para finalizar con una cena de premiación en la hermosa residencia de los Sres. Mónica y Rolando GonzálezBunster. La competencia deportiva estuvo dedicada al señor Antonio Cáceres Troncoso, quien fue el Fundador y primer director ejecutivo de la Asociación PQ. Durante el inicio del torneo, Antonio Cáceres hijo y familiares recibieron una placa de reconocimiento en nombre de la Asociación.

Miguel Roig, presidente de la Asociación PQ, tuvo a su cargo el discurso de cierre del torneo, agradeciendo a Mónica y Rolando González-Bunster, por abrir las puertas de su hogar para realizar la cena. También agradeció a toda la producción del Torneo, a Mariajose Turull de Roig, su esposa; a Andrés Pichardo y Casa de Campo, a la Directiva del PQ, así como a todos los patrocinadores por comprometerse con esta noble causa. Como cada año, importantes instituciones sociales recibieron los fondos obtenidos del torneo, por un monto de medio millón de pesos cada una, siendo las agraciadas Fundación Heart Care Dominicana, recibido Golfistas Dominicanos

The PQ Association successfully celebrated the nineteenth version of the PQ Tournament, within the framework of an unforgettable weekend full of entertainment and collaboration. The event began with a Welcome Cocktail at the Lago restaurant in Casa de Campo hotel, playing the eighteen holes of La Romana Country Club, to end with an awards dinner at the beautiful residence of Messrs. Mónica and Rolando González-Bunster. The competition was dedicated to Mr. Antonio Cáceres Troncoso, who was the Founder and first executive director of the PQ Association. To start the tournament, Antonio Cáceres Jr. and family members received a recognition plaque on behalf of the Association.

Miguel Roig, the PQ Association president, gave the closing speech of the tournament, thanking Mónica and Rolando González-Bunster for opening their home doors to host the gala dinner. He also thanked the entire Tournament production, Mariajose Turull de Roig, his wife; to Andrés Pichardo and Casa de Campo, to the PQ Board of Directors, as well as to all the sponsors for committing to this noble cause. As every year, important social institutions received the funds obtained from the tournament, for an amount of half a million pesos each, the winners being the Dominican Heart Care Foundation, received by its president Susana Caro;

The British Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic celebrated the XXIV edition of the Royal Cup at the exclusive Teeth of the Dog golf course in Casa de Campo. Los mejores golfistas aficionados de la región participarán de la novena edición del Latin America Amateur Championship, que se llevará a cabo del 18 al 21 de enero de 2024 en el Santa María Golf Club, Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá, que otorgará al ganador invitaciones para jugar en tres Majors el año. Fundado por el Masters Tournament, The R&A y la United States Golf Association (USGA) en 2014, el Latin America Amateur Championship se estableció para desarrollar aún más el golf amateur en Sudamérica, Centroamérica, México y el Caribe. Aficionados de 29 países y territorios reconocidos por el Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI) de toda América Latina estarán representados con 108 jugadores. El campeón del LAAC recibirá una invitación para jugar el Masters Tournament 2024 en Augusta National Golf Club, el The 152nd Open en Royal Troon y el 124th U.S. Open que se jugará en Pinehurst No. 2. El capítulo LPGA Amateurs Golf Association Dominican Republic reunió a jugadoras de diversos chapters en República Dominicana para competir en el torneo de golf internacional “Scramble Open Punta Cana”, durante dos días de juego en los espectaculares campos diseñados por Jack Nicklaus en el país, Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay y el retador Punta Espada Golf Course, en la ciudad destino Cap Cana. El evento contó con la asistencia técnica del Comité Ejecutivo de LPGA Amateurs, con asiento de Daytona Beach, apoyadas en la tecnología de Golf Genius. Los premios más atractivos del torneo fueron un pase para participar en el LPGA Amateurs Scramble Open 2024 en Estados Unidos y un Tour a la Solheim Cup 2024. Como en años anteriores, este torneo contó con la participación de un nutrido grupo de jugadores, siendo el primer torneo femenino del país con categoría para caballeros. INTERNATIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT CELEBRATION The LPGA Amateurs Golf Association Dominican Republic chapter brought together players from different chapters to compete in the international golf tournament “Scramble Open Punta Cana”, who played golf during two days on the spectacular courses designed by Jack Nicklaus in the country, Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay and the challenger Punta Espada Golf Course, at Cap Cana. The event had the technical assistance of the LPGA Amateurs’s Executive Committee, based in Daytona Beach, supported by Golf Genius technology.

The tournament most attractive prizes were a pass to participate in the LPGA Amateurs Scramble Open 2024 and a Tour to the Solheim Cup 2024 in the United States. As in previous years, this tournament had a men’s category with a large group of participants. Directors and Collaborators did their best to make the tournament a success and for both foreign and local players live a unique experience in the best golf destination in the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic.
