Charles Pattenson, owner of Formula One Health and Fitness, is a certified holistic health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and personal trainer with the American Sports & Fitness Association. He provides clients with health options through food and exercise, helping them achieve lasting health goals. He offers hand-picked nutritional supplements online and works with clients remotely via Skype, phone or in person, and his experience with celebrity clients and race car drivers has brought more confidence to their daily lives.

Patterson shares, “I have been involved in health for many years. Having been born in California and a personal trainer in LA, then moving to Colorado in the early 90s. Here, my interest in fitness and nutrition really took a different turn, working in health food stores (GNC) and working for one of the biggest supplement companies in the late 90s, EAS. It is here that my interest not only in exercise but nutrition really took off. Becoming a nutrition coach gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge on how nutrition is the key to longevity.”

He explains, “My coaching approach is different, in that I listen to my clients carefully to better understand their health concerns. This allows me to tailor a program both through nutritional changes and exercise helping them reach their goals. Another specialty is that I work with people in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond, helping them navigate health as we age. I just turned a big milestone, and this gives me a better understanding just what is needed for my clients that may be intimidated by entering a health and fitness program.” At some point, Patterson would like to have his own studio to provide yoga, meditation and exercise to small groups.

“I am very passionate about their health and wellness,” he says. “Living the lifestyle, I love to pass my knowledge to others. Having been fortunate to meet and work with some incredible people, not only in the health field, but everyday, hardworking people overcome their fears and desires to achieve the true health that they deserve—that is what Formula One Health is all about. I am working on a New Year’s package of health and wellness to get people back on track. This year has been one of great difficulty, but with good health you can overcome many of life’s obstacles.”
