A country willing to divide for equality

Colin’s knee was peaceful

Yet you felt attacked

You preach Dr. King’s peace

But this is the language of the unheard

Tired became exhausted

We became threats

Riots became the focus

This reality became inevitable

My back a bullseye

My skin an armory

My melanin a threat

This is why we kneel
