best wishes to gonzaga eagles basketball for a great season from petitbon alarm and the petitbon family!
NINETEEN EYE STREET, NORTHWEST WASHINGTON, DC 20001 OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT (202) 336-7171 FAX (202) 336-7172
December 2016 Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends, Welcome to another exciting season of Gonzaga basketball! Gonzaga is, among other things, a school rich in tradition and one of those longstanding traditions is great basketball. Since its beginning more than a century ago, the basketball teams on Eye Street have provided alumni and fans countless moments of excitement and pride. The 2016-2017 season promises to be a thrilling one for the varsity Eagles as they travel near and far to take on some of the best teams in the country while also hosting some of the best teams on our home court in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. The entire program is poised for success with many returning players on the varsity team who will surely keep the strong tradition of great Gonzaga basketball alive. The success of the Gonzaga basketball program would not be possible, however, without the enduring support of parents, alumni, and friends like you. Many thanks to all of you for supporting Gonzaga and our student-athletes. May God bless you and may God bless our Purple Eagles! Sincerely,
Rev. Stephen W. Planning, SJ President

Allin, You have truly taken what they said you couldn’t have! Proud is not nearly a strong enough word to describe how your mother and I feel at this moment in time. What you have achieved here at Gonzaga is yours, YOU earned it and nobody can take that away from you. You learned firsthand that nothing is given and life, sometimes, is not fair. I know we have made decisions and choices along this journey, which you may not have understood or fully embraced at the time; however, seeing where you are now, and all that you have endured and fought for and through, was worth its weight in gold! What we feel today is so much more than proud. To watch you grow and mature over these past four years, and now understanding how God has blessed you…we are excited to see what the future hold for you son. Sometimes, the light at the end of tunnel seems unreachable but you made it! Now it’s time to shine! We LOVE you more than you can comprehend. Mom and Dad
