When it comes to the many signs seen around Goochland County, changes are coming in January as the county ushers in its newly revised zoning ordinance regulations. Thanks in part to a 2015 United States Supreme Court ruling that deemed localities could not regulate signage based on the type of information conveyed, communities across the country have been working to rewrite their own local ordinances governing signs. As Goochland’s Director of Community Development Jo Ann Hunter explained to

Goochland’s Fife Fire Rescue Auxiliary (Co. 4 Firehouse), located at 2397 Hadensville Fife Road, will be hosting its annual free Breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Dec. 7. This cherished annual event will offer the chance to visit with friends and neighbors and enjoy breakfast — and, of course, children will have the chance to visit with Santa and receive a treat.
