PHILOSOPHY

WeWOOD è una azienda di Firenze, conosciuta a livello mondiale per essere stata la prima a realizzare orologi in legno di recupero. Da sempre attenta alla salvaguardia del pianeta, dal 2009 WeWOOD pianta un albero per ogni prodotto venduto. WeWOOD pone la Natura e la bellezza al centro dell’Universo, raccontando al mondo una nuova filosofia di vita secondo cui lusso e sostenibilità non sono in conflitto: la sinergia tra lusso estetico, morale e appagamento personale, passa attraverso l’impiego di materiali riciclati e naturali come la fibra di cotone o materiali di recupero come il Rovere delle briccole veneziane usate per la realizzazione di orologi interamente fatti in Italia. Tutti i materiali che vengono reperiti attraverso procedimenti di approvvigionamento responsabile, diventano così elementi posti al servizio dei sensi, in direzione della nostra elevazione spirituale. La sensibilità di WeWOOD si traduce inoltre nella partnership con alcune delle più famose organizzazioni internazionali che operano per la salvaguardia dell’ambiente, attraverso programmi di rimboschimento e riforestazione come Trees for the Future, American Forests e Treedom. Ad oggi, grazie a WeWOOD sono stati piantati oltre 500.000 alberi in giro per il mondo, contribuendo a sostenere economicamente comunità locali e riducendo la quantità di Co2 del pianeta.

PHOENIX è il primo orologio WeWOOD resistente all’acqua fino a 5 ATM certificate. È realizzato in fibra di cotone e polpa di legno, con cinturino in nylon impermeabile. Disponibile nei modelli Phoenix 38mm da donna, Phoenix 46mm da uomo ed anche in una versione Chrono.

PHOENIX is the first WeWOOD watch that is water-resistant to 5 ATM certified. It’s made of cotton fibers and wood pulp, with a waterproof nylon strap. Available in Phoenix 38mm for women, Phoenix 46mm for men and also in a Chrono version.
