Chris has been practicing Architecture for over 30 years and is registered in multiple states throughout the Southeast and has been active in civic affairs in and around metro Atlanta. Chris participates in all major internal decisions of the firm and meets with appropriate client representatives at regular intervals throughout the conceptual design process. He focuses his experience on establishing methodologies, solving client related issues and reviewing and learning from their results. In addition to his duties as Managing Partner of the firm, he focuses his efforts on business development. Chris has directed these activities for such project types as public sector-municipal facilities, corporate and commercial facilities, museums, athletics, educational, and multi-family facilities where project size has ranged from $100,000 to $1.6 billion.

Paul Van Slyke has been practicing architecture for over 37 years. He is also active in civic affairs and a member of the American Institute of Architects. Paul is a partner for GVSA, a general architectural practice, that has executed hundreds of projects in the firm’s lifespan. He is experienced in listening to clients’ goals and transforming them into tangible products. He has performed many roles on a variety of projects. He is an active member in the Congress of New Urbanism and a founding member of the Atlanta Chapter. Paul has been published numerous times and his GVSA projects have received multiple design awards.

THE BAILEY Plans for The Bailey include a professional sports development facility, a 119room high-end hotel and restaurant, a wellness center, and a 32-unit condominium building. At its heart, the $160 million development will feature a “tech-centric center” with more than 150,000 square feet designed for rehabilitation, analytics, outpatient services, and more. Highlights include a coffee shop, two fast-casual restaurants, a juice bar, The Bailey’s very own wine and cognac lounge, and a one dining establishment. “Each individual location will be wrapped

before seen tech,” Plans also call for “unified electronically engineered trees” complete with a speaker system, illuminated from dusk to dawn, that accumulate rainwater for lawn nourishment, dubbed The Bailey SuperTree.
