Bear Brew Coffee is Cleveland’s downtown coffee shop, located across from the Bradley County Courthouse. We opened our doors in June 2018 and are proud to be part of the active revitalization of downtown Cleveland.
We also strive to belong in our local economy by using our business as an opportunity to support the Cleveland community. We employ 12 local employees. We choose to
spacious, great for working or meeting with friends. The location is central and easily accessible, nestled behind Terra Running Company in the heart of downtown Cleveland, but none of these are the reason you will make Bear Brew your go-to coffee shop.
At Bear Brew, our “regulars” are the heartbeat of our day, the tie that binds the runners with the students, with the businesspeople, with the lawyers, who all know that at Bear Brew, they belong.
Maybe you’re a “Roger,” who gets his exercise by walking the mile to Bear Brew Coffee each morning, no matter the weather. Or you’re a “Beth,” who brings her laptop and headphones each weekday to work her remote job in our warm and inviting atmosphere. Or you might be a “Ron,” who describes Bear Brew Coffee as his oasis. He looks forward to his chats with the barista and his 16-oz. single-origin coffee, black.

purchase all of our ingredients and baked goods locally at Cooke’s Food Store and Town House Bake Shop. We donate our used coffee grounds to the First Cumberland Presbyterian Community Garden downtown. We purchase our paper goods and cups from Sun Paper Janitorial Supplies on Broad Street, our branded merchandise from Carroll Printing on 1st Street, and our custom wooden tables from Wicked Wood Shop on Old Tasso Rd.
Just like we want to be an integral part of the local economy here in Cleveland, we know that you, our customer, are integral to our continued success.

Brittany proudly serves on the boards of Girls on the Run of SE Tennessee and the Cleveland Bradley Chamber of Commerce. She believes in supporting local business, empowering her team of employees, and drinking lots of coffee. She has a dog named Rocky and a fish named Fin.
