Voytik Center For Orthopedic Care
“L et us help you get active again.” This is the goal at Voytik Center for Orthopedic Care (VCOC), and for over 20 years, Dr. Gary Voytik, D.O., much more than that. Dr. Voytik specializes in concussion therapy and works closely with several local school sports teams—including Cleveland High School and Cleveland and his team of professionals have done just that. Another way VCOC is setting itself apart from the competition is through its use of regenerative medicine, something that has become available at the facility in the past year. Regenerative medicine involves using a person’s own cells, combined with other human cells and tissue, to stimulate the body’s repair functions and help heal an injury. This type of medicine gives a less drastic option for patients who aren’t quite ready for surgery, and few practices are able to offer this choice to patients. VCOC also carries medical-grade CBD products, including oils, capsules, and creams.
With the constant presence of the Coronavirus, VCOC wants everyone to know that it operates as a completely equipped walk-in orthopedic clinic with no appointment required. If you have an injury that’s related to orthopedics, you can come on in: no hour-long wait in an emergency room required. Dr. Voytik and his team see orthopedic injuries of all types, and they can also take X-rays if required. They are now allowing people in the waiting area following social distancing guidelines—so family of patients aren’t required to wait in a hot car or stay at home—are cleaning constantly, and have cut down on the number of people being seen to dedicate more time to sanitizing between patients.
Dr. Voytik and the rest of the staff at VCOC are focused on putting you first. Brenda said, “We always want to take care of everyone like family. We want you to leave and say, ‘They treated me great.’” The billing manager, Summer, will always sit down with you before any procedure, tell you what your insurance will cover and what your copay will be, and if you don’t have insurance, she’ll have a selfpay rate available for you. with their prices, especially with our current world’s circumstances in mind, so make sure you ask ahead of time to see what works best for you.
In addition to his customer-focused approach, Dr. Voytik spends much of his time giving back to the community. He is very active with FCA and is a former board member of the Cleveland chapter. Brenda is on the board of Free 2 Fly, a local nonprofit organization that helps women who have been in difficult situations better themselves and achieve self-sufficiency. They attend First Baptist Church, have three amazing kids, and were blessed with their first grandchild earlier this year!
