Pasta Frolla Basic Short Crust Pastry Ingredients • 100 g unsalted butter • 200 g flour • the zest from 1 lemon, grated • 100 g icing sugar
Dice the cold butter finely. In a bowl, quickly mix butter and flour rubbing the mixture with your hands until you obtain a fine crumb mix. Make a well in the butter and flour, mix and sift the icing sugar onto it then add the egg yolks and mix them through, forming a dough. Do not overwork. Cover and put in dry cool place to rest for half an hour.
