giving a space a sense of place “... stretching, reaching, leaking out into the urban fabric, occupied and vacant spaces, existing and absent resources connect the people, the places, the spaces. Within a city, a building, a room; light, color ; transparency, vulnerability, willingness embodies the transformation, fosters the process, inspires the lasting change. from an Architectural Manifesto by Koren Worley
I first noticed architecture as a young girl walking along some florida beaches. i remember being captivated even mystified by the relationship between building and landscape. I admired the art of creation, natural and manmade. but, what I later decided was what I cared for more than the space itself was the people who filled it. as an architect and designer, i strive to: dream, serve, and create.

design+build the power to call someplace home “More than building homes, we build communities, we build hope and we build the oppor tunity for families to help themselves. -Habitat for Humanity
because of the consturction skills I learned at HFH and my architectural background, I am able to be highly involved in design build projects. our own personal home renovations have given me the freedom to explore interior design and define my personal aesthetic. and, local small businesses have given me the opportunity to completely customize their spaces by building unique fixtures and furniture. Whether creating at home or work, my goal is to design and build inspiring spaces.

One of the most important things I learned in my role as display artist at Anthropologie is that I can create an unimagined environment; art that inspires the mind to think and see differently.
