CONCEPT DESIGN

POINT OF DIFFERENCE

As early as in the late nineteen eighties, Gorenje started to develop new products by considering broadly defined user needs. We further enhanced and elevated the constant progress in modern technologies with aesthetics and convenience of the offered products which were combined in product families with a clear purpose.

Resulting from in-house know-how, lines like Rainbow, Harmony, Young-Style, and Retro Collection were born in that period.

Cooperation with the renowned design studio Pininfarina was of decisive importance for further development of the brand. As Gorenje celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2000, we successfully presented the innovatively designed family of products employing state-of-the-art technology. We were the first among household appliances producers to recognize the opportunities of teaming up with renowned designers (Pininfarina, Ora-Ă?to, Karim Rashid) in order to develop superbly designed families of products.
