The Peninsula Community Men’s Shed is proposing to submit a development application to extend the current area of the building that houses the men’s shed. Council will donate almost $1300 worth of its services associated with a development application, construction certificate application and principal certifying authority.

Council has agreed to register its total opposition to the sale or lease of the publicly owned electricity network and associated Stateowned corporations. As one of the highest users of electricity in NSW, local councils will be negatively affected by privatisation through higher electricity prices and the loss of local jobs.
Council has endorsed the preparation of a planning proposal that would allow part of the former Bunnings site at West Gosford to be used for bulky goods premises. The bulky goods part of the site’s potential development will be restricted so that the land can still be used for large-scale industrial developments.
