We’re looking forward to hosting plenty of Pokémon fun at Gosford Regional Gallery and the Japanese Garden during the school holidays. There are 8 pokéstops in and around the Gallery complex and we will also have active lures happening 11am to 3pm from Monday 26 September to Sunday 2 October. There are plenty of different Pokémon waiting to be discovered throughout the Garden or you can battle for control of our Gym. Don’t forget to enter our Pokémon photo competition to go in the draw to win itunes vouchers. Pokémon Go Photo Competition Can you catch Magikarp on camera, flapping hopelessly on the edge of our pond? Goldeen swimming with the Koi carp? Squirtle sitting on turtle island or Psyduck hanging out with
the real ducks? Send us your Pokémon photograph taken at the Gallery to win a prize. Prizes will be awarded for the top 10 images of Pokémon in their natural setting here at the Gallery or Garden. How to Enter Post your Pokémon photographs directly to our facebook page or send them by email to

Pokémon Gallery Enter a drawing of your favourite Pokémon for display in our Pokémon Gallery. All entries will be displayed at the Gallery until 10 October. The best entries will receive prizes. Entries must be submitted by Sunday 2 October. Either drop them in at Gallery Reception or post them to 36 Webb Street, East Gosford.

Pokémon Drawing Workshops Tuesday 27 September 10:30am - 12:30pm and 1.30pm - 3.30pm Draw your favourite Pokémon in these fun drawing classes. Children can use their imagination and draw Pokémon in a special setting. If they have a favourite Pokémon, bring them along to the class for inspiration.

Patchwork Landscapes with Sandra Macarthur Monday 3 October 10.30am - 12.30pm Taking inspiration from artist David Hockney, children will learn about the use of colour and how to show depth in an acrylic landscape painting.
Colourful Weaving with Vanja Zetovic Wednesday 5 October 1.30pm - 3.30pm Children will use a prewarped loom and simple weaving techniques to create a wall hanging.
Landscape Trees with Sandra Macarthur Tuesday 4 October 1.30pm - 3.30pm After sketching trees in
Silk Mandalas with Vanja Zetovic Wednesday 5 October 10.30am - 12.30pm Students will learn the basics of painting on silk to develop their own “Mandala” inspired by traditional designs.

Free Activities in the Foyer Daily 10am-4pm Create an artwork in the Foyer by drawing, decorating or colouring-in your own PokÊmon. Suitable for children of all ages. Daily 10am to 4pm during the holidays. Stories at the Gallery Wild about Whales Tuesday 27 September, 10.30am - 11.30am Featuring stories from Central Coast Library’s book collection and including a craft activity. Ages 6 to 12 years. This is a free event but bookings are essential at: www.gosford.nsw.gov.au/libraries
CONDI TI ONS OF E NROLM ENT The minimum class size is five students. Classes will be cancelled if there are insufficient students. Should cancellation be necessary, you will be notified by phone as early as possible prior to class commencement and a refund will be issued. Gosford Regional Gallery reserves the right to change tutors, class times, venue and structure, or to reduce the length of the class if there are insufficient numbers. Unruly behaviour by children in classes is unacceptable. Gosford Regional Gallery reserves the right to refuse enrolment should such circumstances arise. Refunds are not possible if less than 48 hours cancellation notice is given.
