Sydney Morning Herald 14th November 1918 pg. 6 ROLL OF HONOUR Williamson-Died of broncho-pneumonia, on October 13, 1918, Private Percy Williamson, youngest son of the late J.B. and Mrs Williamson, 4th Batt., A.I.F. (No.5477), after two yers and seven months active service, aged 26 years, late of Peakhurst and the Godford Band. Inserted by his loving mother, sisters, and brothers, and Alex, (prisoner of war).

Gosford Times 28th November 1918 As stated in last issue, Private Percy Williamson, who enlisted from Gosford, died of broncho-pneumonia on 13th October after two years and seven active service. He was a member of Gosford Band, and almost every mail wrote to Bandmaster Lovell. The last letter received from him was dated from france on 22 nd September, and it was received by Mr Lovell at Gosford the very day that the cable reported poor Percy’s death. In his letter he stated that Father Dwyer, of Gosford, was in their Company, and concludes by asking Mr Lovell to convey his kindest regards to the Band boys and friends in general. It was probably poor Percy’s last word to his pals across the sea.

Sydney Morning Herald 13th December 1918 pg. 6 RETURN THANKS Mrs WILLIAMSON and FAMILY, of 187 Newick Street, Leichhardt, wish to return sincere THANKS to all kind friends for letters and cards of sympathy in their recent sad bereavement in the loss of their dear son and brother, Bandman Percy Williamson, 4th Batt., on active service. Sydney Morning Herald 31st October 1919 pg. 6 On Active Service WILLIAMSON-In loving memory of my dear brother, Private Percy Williamson, 4th Batt., who died of illness on active service, October 31, 1918. The supreme sacrifice. Inserted by his loving sister, Gertie, brother-in-law, Arthur, and niece, Jessie.
