LEAP INTO IT

Prophetess Allison Mahon

LEAP INTO IT! I’ve learned that some of my greatest moments in life, required me to throw caution to the wind and take a leap of faith. When I got married I took a leap, starting my business was a leap, our ministry was another, and even walking away from my job, all of these life defining moments required me Leap into the unfamiliar. I don’t believe we can ever get to our desired destination without having to make some difficult choices. I recognize that this decade has ushered us into a new era. Many of us are sensing the excitement and exhilaration of the “NEW”. This has caused us to discern the importance and the urgency of timing in, and of

our lives. There is an unspoken consciousness’, that we are at the threshold of something much bigger and greater than we ever could imagine. This feeling is the convergence of something greater happening individually and corporately for the body of Christ. Ultimately, these moments require that we trust God, placing our whole lives in His h a n d s a n d fi n d i n g t h e courage to LEAP. I don’t know what your “it” is; but whatever it is take courage and LEAP! Leap for your promise, leap for your destiny, leap for your future its YOURS.

Each of us will likely have to face the death of a close family member one day, and worrying about funeral costs will only add to the pain and grief. While there’s nothing we can do to ease the pain of loss, planning ahead can remove the financial burden of final expenses.

According to the National Funeral Directors Association, the national median cost of an adult funeral, with viewing and burial, in 2017 was $8,7551 And, this cost does not include the cemetery plot, monument, flowers, obituary or other cash expenses, which could push the cost well over $10,000.

Get with me to discuss the final love letter that you SHOULD give to your Family, which is Life Insurance. Would love to help you write that love letter for them Much Love to you all, God bless! #donotgetcaughtwithoutit

“HEATH” JADON Gospel 4 U had the opportunity of talking with this amazing young man, and we captured a great story. Hello Gospel 4 U Magazine and all readers, Thank you for this opportunity to share all God is doing in my life. I am Jadon Heath, and I am 15 years old, I have been actively playing from the age of 4. I play the piano and the organ, and for the past six years, I have been learning to play and read musc at Settlement Music School. I play for my Church, and as the Lord leads, I play for other Churches as well, he stated. God has been so good and I just recently released my first debut album, It's called "GOD HAS HEARD” He shared that this would not at all be possible without his parents, he said that have been a significant part in who I am today, My dad Jermaine Heath Sr. and Mom Janel Heath are the real inspirations in my life. My mother is always there for me, she always has my back, and my dad is an enormous influence to me, he teaches me how to view music and my perspectives on music. 12 Loreconda 19/01/20

Jadon told Gospel 4 U Magazine that his very first time playing out was for his dad's former Church St Paul's Chapel Baptist Church in South Philadelphia, this young man is such an inspiration. As I interviewed with him, without even asking about his relationship with God, his life speaks for itself, he shared his love for the Lord and the passion that he feels for the Lord is amazing, it is such an awesome feeling to see young people on fire for the Lord. After chatting with Jadon, I asked him, what was next for his gift and ministry, and, he paused for a moment and said, “Whatever the Lord has for me, it is so. He added that he has been praying and believing God that one day he would be able to produce his own music, Jadon told us that he is a part of a group with other young musicians called "Affiliations" and they are on fire for the Lord. This young man is dedicated to the Lord, and as I sat and listened to his heart, I can see a young man that is going places for Jesus. Jadon has a burning desire for music and seeing him give God glory for all he is doing in his life, blessed me tremendously.

A L I S H A P E R RY “THAT CUPCAKE LADY

Hi! I'm Alisha Perry, and I am an Event Planner and a Baker. If anyone had told me that I would hold these titles, let alone have my own businesses, I would have laughed! My life before event planning and baking, just three years ago, consisted of being a single Mom of three boys - at that time 17, 14 and 2, and a full-time employee. I always had a desire to care for and bring others joy and comfort, but in the form of nursing. Event planning and baking? Not even on my radar. In March of 2017, I assisted a friend with her daughter's 13th birthday party. It was an Emoji themed party, and I decided to take my chances at cake pops, chocolate covered pretzels, and cupcakes for my first attempt at a dessert table. I was pleased with the outcome, as was my family and friends once I shared my creations on social media. Not only did I gain approval, but I also began to receive order requests. Initially, I was not interested in pursuing this as anything more than this new hobby I now had. But, when the treat orders never stopped being requested after a few months, prompting from close family and friends to create a business out of it persisted, and a daily devotional on June 21, 2017, confirmed God's plan for my life, I decided to move forward. The devotional reads: Lord, You are the Creator of everything, and You live within me. Please help me display Your creativity in the uniques ways You intended when You made me. Amen God spoke to me through this devotional that day. Not only to say move forward with your business endeavors but also to not limit me to baking because there is so much more creativity in me. Thus, just two short weeks later, on July 3, 2017, True Story Events, LLC, was formed. That day, I decided that I wanted every client or potential client to know that God is at the forefront of this thing, so this devotional is on all my business cards. It is a constant reminder that the finished products are His creations displayed through me, and I am grateful to be of service to you as He has seen fit!

I have been incredibly blessed in these endeavors, and not just in the aspect of making money. Having my name precede me in places, meeting new people, adding a special touch to someone's celebratory occasion, and, most importantly, donating my time and services whenever I can. In December of 2019, I had the pleasure of hosting my first charity event, "Cupcakes For a Cause." The request of hats, scarves, gloves, personal hygiene products, non-perishable food items and monetary donations was a success! In return quests were able to feast on about 12 dozen cupcakes in which I donated as a thank you. Word about the event reached the local CBS 21 News, and they stopped by to cover the event. I'm looking forward to making "Cupcakes For a Cause a semi-annual or annual event to give back to the community.I thank God for the opportunities that He has already given me, and I look forward to what is coming forth. He has been steadfast in my favorite scripture: For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, Plans to give you hope and a future ~ Jeremiah 29:11

Thank you, Jesus, for my future!!

Tomorrow is not Promised

November 23, 2018. The day God stepped in and changed my life. I didn’t think it was possible at first, but as the days continued to pass by, as I recommitted my life back to Him and sought after His will for my life. I knew there was no turning back. This date is the day I stopped drinking. Cold turkey. I WAS an alcoholic, but I am here to say that alcohol no longer has a hold on my life. It WAS my depressant, it was my hope. The idol I turned to when I didn’t want to go through pain. The pain of being raped. The pain of rejection. I learned the help that I needed and continue to need comes from Jesus. From the day I stopped drinking the more I followed His will the more things began to fall in line. I am now free to worship to sing and play piano as He leads. To paint and take pictures as He gives me the visuals to do so. I wont lie and say the journey is easy. There are tests along the way. But He is there through each one to help you push through. Each process is necessary in this journey with Him and I will always be thankful for my church family at Elevated Life In Christ Community Church who have loved me and supported me and continue to walk along this journey with me. What are you waiting for? Tomorrow is never promised! Follow her on IG @Kristen_mariephotography 19

FORMER LIFE LESSONS ARE NOW STRATEGIC PLANS! Crisis has a way of putting our backs against the wall and influencing us to adopt, traits, habits, and conduct that is uncharacteristic of God's nature. Your vision and perception become cloudy because you are looking through a lens of hurt, disappointment, and loss. You don't trust anymore, and everyone's intentions become questionable. While God had me in this uncertain place, things around me grew quiet. Not because there was no noise or interruption but because God was giving me wisdom, restoring my love for people and allowing me to trust again. My trust was not perpetuated by people or external factors. My confidence was perpetuated because I began to trust in my God. The irony is my hurt and disappointment was not caused by others but by the pain that I caused in others. Those people turned their backs on me, gossiped about me and made my life a spectacle. I deserved it but I had to embrace the pain and the humiliation. I had to still smile in the face of adversity, when strive all odds were

against me and press when the weight of circumstances were on my shoulders. When you get to such a low place, your only lifeline is Jesus! This path only comes by taking ownership of your wrong and appreciating God's love, grace, and mercy. The next step is changing d i re c t i o n . C o m m i t y o u r s e l f t o transformation, change, consistency and discipline. At the end of the day lear n the lesson out of every circumstance you encounter. God uses these opportunities to build our character and integrity. Our faith in God and our choices go hand in hand. Build upon these encounters and never perceive anything as coincidence. There is a spiritual realm that God is preparing for you and it's purposed in your pain. Our testimony and exercise of grace upon others should represent and mirror the love and grace that the Lord has granted us to heal. Be intentional, be gracious and keep Jesus at the core of everything you have purposed to do.

YOUR WILL Dr. Joanna Birchett

28

As I thought about the topic, “ Your Will Be Done," I began to realize that we say things without full knowledge or understanding of the results. Just take a moment and think about when we say, Lord, YOUR WILL BE DONE - What do we expect from him? - What should the answer be? These are thought-provoking questions that will allow us to see that we cannot have our cake and eat it too. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that HE KNOWS the plans He has for us. They might not be what we think we want, but they are always what we need. Reading Jeremiah 29:11 is not

just where it ends but if we continue reading, we see God's promises to us. Let's look at verses 12-14: 12 . Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 . You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” I want to say to you that HIS

WILL is perfect for us, it sometimes does not seem to make sense, but before you lose focus, before you mess up, remember HE KNOWS, Romans 8:28 reminds us that All things will work together for good." It will because we are called according to HIS purpose. While God looks at things in the light of eternity, the outlook of humans like you and I, are much more focused on right now. We tend to forget that we serve a God that does what he wants, whenever He want, because He is a Sovereign God. And His will is all we need to be in.

BE DONE

The Bible teaches us that when we pray, we should model the Lord's prayer and in the book of Matthew 6: 9-13 it states 9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. This is an earthly picture of our relationship with God. He is our Heavenly Father, and we as His children must come to Him and ask what His will is for our lives. When we repented and turned to God for forgiveness, we also made Him the Lord of our lives. That means He is in

control, and it is His decisions (His will) that we must seek for everything that affects us. Praying for God's will is an act of obedience, ad submission just like asking for our parents' permission. A true son/daughter honors the will of his/her father. Whether we say, "Thy will be done" when we pray, or whether we use a less formal phrase, it is critical to pray in God's will. It is acceptable for us to tell God what our will is for a given situation, but then we should always defer to Him and let Him know that we desire HIS WILL above our own. Even Jesus did this in the Garden of Gethsemane when He was facing torture and death on the cross: "…he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will'" (Matthew

26:39). This is called submission; God is looking for a people that are ready to let go and let Him be GOD in their lives. Is that you? 29

THE WILL OF GOD Evangelist Jennifer Marlowe Evangelist Jennifer Marlowe is a woman on a mission, she is dedicated to doing the work of the Lord and she does not allow anything or anyone to determine her purpose, she relies on God.

While in prayer one morning, the spirit of God spoke to me, saying.

"There have been a lot of prophecies spoken over your life and other people's lives, yet neither has relinquished their will, by giving Me full Authority. But then I said to the Lord, "Father; I do like what most people do; I say, "I receive it in the name of Jesus," he then says to me, that's not giving me full Authority to walk as Godhead over your life. He then sends me to the book of Luke 1, where in 32

verse 26-38, where Gabriel the angel visited Mary ( mother of Jesus) and spoke the prophecy over her life, where she gives up her will declaring "let it be done unto me according to your will." TOTAL SUBMISSION!! TOTAL OBEDIENCE!!Your purpose calls for submission and obedience for divine change and intervention to be manifested. God desires to use us to fulfill kingdom assignments, but first, he wants us to give him free will in our lives.

God will never force us into purpose; he wants us to accept it willing by faith. The Bible speaks about Mary, the mother of Jesus, she questions her call, but humbly accepts her assignment by faith. Turning over all will and rights of our lives to the father will bring activation. (Jer 29:11) 'for I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.'

God will parent the purpose and the prophecies that were spoken over our lives when we grant him full access for his will to be done. He will nurture us spiritually, physically, psychologically, in His capacity so that we can face opposition and criticism. Just Like the gatekeeper in (1 chronicle 9:22-23), we each have God-given purpose, unique gifts, and talents for a specific area for the kingdom of God, but he is waiting for the voice activation 'let it be unto your will' then trust him. God will use you as a proof that he is credible in his will and precepts.

Let's fall in line with the purpose of God for our lives, just like Mary did, so that HIS WILL BE DONE!

LET GOD ARISE

Let God Arise through Worship Let God Arise through Prayer Let God Arise through Praise Let God Arise through Fasting

We are in the season where it is time to Let God Arise in our lives. There are things that God has given us to do and for various reasons we have failed to get it done. Through life’s journey we are faced with obstacles and opposition that causes us to question the very thing that we once knew God had given us to do. Life hits us all and in some instances life hits us fast causing us to feel defeated, in return, become frustrated and stagnate. Life has been moving at this same pace for many years, for some. You have tried many ways and even considered the pace that life is moving is causing us to become stagnate, frustrated and delayed in the process. However, all of what is happening around you is designed to help you

34

Prophetess Sherria Gross birth out the things that God has placed on the inside. There are times that we are strong enough to get into the birthing position and then there are times when our strength is depleted and we cannot get in the birthing position. During the times that your strength was depleted and you failed to execute or give birth. I have been in this place before and in these times I realized that I was trying to execute and give birth in my own strength. It is during these times in my own life that I realized that I was trying to take on the obstacles and oppositions of life in my own strength at the same time that I was trying to give birth or execute things God had given me to do.

Nothing that God has placed in us to do can be done in our own strength. This why we must make sure that we live a life unto God of prayer, worship, praise and fasting to strengthen us to overcome the obstacles and opposition that is in our way. Don’t try to overcome in your own strength, but Let the God of your faith Arise in every circumstance and in every area of your life. Lay down your will and your way of doing things, stop trying to do it n your own strength. Let God Arise and let his strength overtake you and bring you up and out and into the fullness of what he has given you to do. There are some things that you need to take your hands off so God can arise. Time has expired for continuing to doing things in your own strength. In our own strength we act as if everything is in going well knowing things are in disarray. Now is the time to get real with God and express the hurt your circumstances has caused, express the hurt of your failures, and express to him everything that you fear. Let God Arise and every enemy of your soul be scattered. Tell the enemy (inner me) that God will Arise in you and everything he has predestined for your life will be manifested. Remember that no weapon that is formed against you will prosper even if the weapon is you. Life circumstances may come, hardships may come, but the things that God has placed in you are more relevant and powerful than you past, present and future situations. This is the season to Let God Arise!!
