2007
At ILSC we are conscious of our responsibility to take an active role in environmental stewardship. Our official Environmental Policy was first implemented in 2008, and since then we have been working hard to further reduce our environmental impact. In 2011, we became the first private language school to become Climate Smart Certified. Climate Smart is a B.C. certification that applies to our Vancouver locations.
2010 ILSC–New Delhi Launches the Learn to Earn Program "Learn to Earn" is ILSC–New Delhi's educational sponsorship program which offers free English education and job skills training to young disadvantaged Indian girls, with the generous assistance of private sponsors. The program helps open new opportunities for these young women in a country that struggles with one of the highest rates of poverty in the world. ILSC sister schools have been sponsoring the program; however, new sponsors are always welcome.

Available in Full-time schedule Students may opt to take IELTS Mastery in the Full-time Intensive schedule to strengthen key areas through additional Academic Skills Electives. The purpose of the IELTS Mastery is to prepare students for the Academic version of the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam. It covers all four test modules; Listening, Academic Reading, Academic Writing, and Speaking. This course gives students the opportunity to specifically target each macro-skill, as well as develop grammar, academic vocabulary and writing skills in order to obtain their target IELTS band score and move on to their academic goals either through direct entry into university or through ILSC’s University Pathway Program.
IELTS is one of the keys to open doorways to university, migration and employment. IELTS Mastery Levels The IELTS Mastery is offered at 6 levels each designed to help student target and achieve a specific IELTS level. All students (including current ILSC students) will be required to take a test to determine their current IELTS level in order to be placed in the appropriate level. Each IELTS level is offered over up to 3 course sessions (12 weeks); students will advance to the next IELTS level after 1, 2 or 3 sessions depending on their ability.

I am very satisfied for having chosen the International Trade course. What I like most is the practical classes when we work with real documents and deal with real businesses. One of the best things about this course is the fact that we have classmates from different countries, which improves the diversity and creates opportunities for future business overseas. I feel very confident and ready to work in the international trading market thanks to the knowledge and skills that I obtained after the course. Tito Santos Lima, Brazil

I studied the International Business course and I just loved it. The classes are very well organized to make all the details understandable. I had teachers who have working experience in marketing, business or finances. They gave us case studies and real examples which made it easier to understand and remember. I think that the International Business course is going to help me get a good job, especially in big companies or international companies in Brazil. Douglas Nagasse Tsudano, Brazil
