Living with a host family

Residential Accommodation

Feeling safe, comfortable and welcome at all times is a key factor in getting the most from your stay in England.

Eastbourne offers shared residential accommodation for students aged 10-16. This is reserved for groups all year but in the summer time it is also available for individuals. For adults, London offers single room, half-board residential accommodation all year (with limited space), and Brighton offers single room, self-catering accommodation at the Sussex University in the summer time.

To use your English and experience UK culture we recommend living in one of our carefully chosen homestay families. All three schools have host families who are close to the schools - in London and Brighton a maximum of 20-25 minutes’ travelling distance, and in Eastbourne a maximum of 35 minutes’ walking distance or a short bus ride. Some are much closer as the schools are all located very near residential areas. We visit all our hosts before placing students with them and monitor student feedback to ensure you have the best possible experience. We can also offer private home accommodation, where you will live with a host but will have more independence. This includes bed and breakfast and selfcatering options.

Other Accommodation Options Hostels, hotels, self-catering student houses and guest houses are also available. Please contact schools for more information – they are happy to give advice.
