All bulls have passed a breeding soundness examination prior to the sale. All bulls are virgin bulls and the Coming 2-year-old bulls have been Trich tested.

Dear Friends,
We are once again excited to extend this invitation for you to join us at our 6 th Annual Production Sale. I hope that this catalog finds you all well and the weather good! As I write this, cattle prices are trending up again, and the outlook for the near future on cattle is positive. This past year may not have been the best in terms of weather, in particular moisture for a lot of us. However, we are thankful here for timely rains that held the pastures together and provided just enough feed to be put up. The spring calves did well on the available forage, and we’re excited to present them for your evaluation this spring.
I’ve written before, I believe this year’s sale offering is even better than the previous one. To an extent though, I wouldn’t want to slight the bulls and females we have sold in the past as there are some great ones already working in many of your herds. Now, with that said, it is pretty much how we operate in our home, whether it’s kids’ sports, school, growing forages, raising cattle, etc., we want to “get better”. We are continuously looking to improve our cattle through the genetics we source, the feedstuffs we provide, pasture management, veterinary care, mineral, you name it. You be the judge, but I believe you will agree that the needle has again moved in a positive direction.
Along with the quality, the quantity of bulls in the sale increased this year as well. There will be some diversity amongst them for calving and performance. Some will be strong on maternal while others are tremendous terminal sires. However, you will find that they are very similar in type and kind throughout the catalog. You’ll notice that we rarely make a comment for disposition or foot structure. We believe those are non-negotiables, those are a minimum requirement to make the sale.
Each year I struggle to relinquish some females, but we simply can’t keep them all. So, we are pleased to offer another set of open heifers right out of our replacement pen. These are selected after 2 rounds of culling, so they come from the final sort. We like them for their genetics and their individual characteristics. Whether you want to build a herd around one, have something to show this summer, or both, we think you can find one in this select group.
