Welcome to our twelfth annual fall production sale!
CHANGE = IMPROVEMENTS = PROGRESS
2023 has been a year of making things happen in order to improve our beef cattle operation! The genetic progress that we are making with this herd of cattle continues to exponentially increase. We continue to emphasize the important traits of fertility, udder quality, disposition, skeletal soundness, body composition, foot and heel design, and respective breed character while using individual performance, DNA enhanced EPDs and ultrasound to breed the best beef cattle that we possibly can. We are excited to present cattle to you that allow us to showcase breeding emphasis on genetic integrity with excellent phenotype and real world performance. Every animal has been DNA tested to confirm parentage and more accurately determine EPDs. Our goal is to provide you with the type of cattle that will make an impact in your program. We have never been more positive about the beef cattle business and the future of our program! We are humbled by your interest in our cattle and we are pleased to present this offering!
This sale is loaded with excellent opportunities!
If you are looking for an Angus donor, Lot 14 checks all the boxes. A Confidence Plus daughter that has done an excellent job. Her desirable type and kind as well as her excellent EPD profile make her a unique piece to the puzzle. The Angus pairs are tremendous and have calves at side by Musgrave No Limit and S A V Pancho Villa. This is a powerful set of Angus opens. Lot 1 has all the bells and whistles! Lots 3 & 4 are three quarter sisters to the 2023 National Junior Angus Show Grand Champion Heifer and Lot 6 are full sib embryos to that same 2023 NJAS Gand champion heifer! This Angus offering is deep and will bring value to their new owners.
This set of Simmental open heifers is truly remarkable. Lot 34, SAM x F805, make sure and study all that she brings to the table. The F805 donor is absolutely making it happen. The Bank On It baldy as well as lots 38 & 39, the On The Mark x 222Z sisters are extremely high quality. Make sue and check out the incredible Simmental pairs. Lot 41 is a donor in the making. Genetically, if you want to make progress in the Simmental breed, take advantage of lots 53, 54, 55 and 56! These are the kinds of genetic opportunities that have made and will continue to make contributions to our program. These opportunities…we are confident in sharing with you.
We are extremely grateful for the talent, passion and work ethic of Harvey Mast. Harvey is our “GO TO” around here and has done an exceptional job of managing the entire operation. His passion is contagious, his attention to detail is second to none and his commitment to excellence is his driving force. Thank you to Heather and MaKinley for sharing his time and the sacrifices required to allow him to do what he loves.
Please consider this an invitation to our farm on Saturday October 14, 2023. We are excited about sharing all of the improvements that we have made. LOT 1
We initiate the 2023 fall offering with a true statement female. 399 is a direct daughter of the highly sought after, scarcely available KR Casino who has sired countless champions nationwide. On the bottom side, she is backed by the powerful Georgina 684 donor that has two sons who have been Lot 1 in our past bull sales to her credit. With the foot, bone, performance, and design to make her a contender anywhere in the land, we are confident she can leave an impact that follows in the footsteps of her infamous cow family.
395 is a maternal sister to the aforementioned Lot 1 female, with a different twist on the top. Sired by one of the breed leaders for registered progeny in GAR Ashland, Lot 2 blends the phenotype and genomic merit to marry the best of both worlds in the Angus business.

Continuing the dominance of the Georgina cow family, we introduce Lots 3 and 4. Here is a pair of flush sisters sired by PVF Inauguration and out of Georgina 683, the leading donor for Dogwood Hills and PHF programs who we unfortunately lost last fall. Despite her untimely passing, 683’s legacy has remained strong, evidenced by her son, DS PHF Hitlist, being crowned Grand Champion Bull of the 2023 All American Angus Futurity. Genetically, this pair of flush sisters would be 3/4 siblings to the 2023 National Junior Angus Show Grand Champion Owned Female, Conley DT Georgina 1076. Two very intriguing prospects that offer a winning pedigree with generations of maternal power.

The bottom side of her pedigree is represented by a Raindance daughter out of the 683 donor female who did a phenomenal job with her first heifer calf.

2023 Jr National Champ Full Sib to the Embryos Selling
The hottest ticket in the Angus breed today. Lot 6 is the opportunity to purchase three full sib eggs to the 2023 National Junior Angus Show Grand Champion Owned Female, Conley DT Georgina 1076. 1076 sold for $85,000 through a former Conley Cattle sale in Oklahoma before going on to be named the 2022-2023 Reserve ROV Show Heifer of the Year for the breed. Before 1076, this mating was validated when the first public offering of Primo x 8577 eggs resulted in the 3rd overall Senior Heifer Calf of the 2018-2019 ROV Show Season, Rooker SJ Georgina 7070. There’s no question this mating has produced champions at the highest level, rather the only question is who will create their next champion by purchasing these eggs. Guaranteeing one (1) pregnancy if work is done by a certified embryologist and embryos are implanted within one (1) year of purchase.
LOT 6 - 3 Sexed Female Embryos by Primo
1012 is a two year old 3/4 sister in blood to Lots 3 and 4. Her dam, Georgina 6000, is the first natural calf out of 8577, and was on her side when they were crowned Supreme Champion of the 2016 All American Angus Futurity as well as Reserve Grand Champion Bred and Owned Cow-Calf pair of the 2016 National Junior Angus Show. With her elegance, flexibility, and feminine nature, 1012 continues the legacy of the Georgina cow family into another generation. Sells with a bull calf at side by Musgrave No Limit (AAA# 19977623).

Arguably as successful as any cow family in the last decade across the Angus show circuit is the Saras Dream lineage. On top of the banners the females have garnered from coast to coast, that very same cow family produced the widely-renowned Colburn Primo. With that in mind, here is an opportunity to acquire a daughter of a full sister to Primo, Colburn Saras Dream 8125. 8125 was named division champion at the 2019 Western National Angus Futurity in Reno, NV, and has been an exciting addition to the donor battery for PHF, Colburn Cattle, and Woodruff Angus. 8125’s first natural calf sold in the 2020 PHF fall sale to the Tinin family of Tennessee where she went on to be a many time champion all across the southern US. 3020 is a EXAR Classen daughter that ties as many proven champion producers as could be found into a single pedigree while having the look, rib shape, and structure to contend on any level of competition.
Offering two exciting matings out of the same donor dam as the Lot 15 female. Good Time and Express both have been associated with creating winners over the past several show seasons. Guaranteeing one (1) pregnancy if work is done by a certified embryologist and embryos are implanted within one (1) year of purchase.

We kick off the Simmental division with what we feel is a true generator in the making. 398L blends the breed leading sire JSUL Something About Mary with our F805 donor who is making her claim as a leader in our Simmental donor battery. 398L exudes the same qualities SAM progeny have been highly sought after for, with an extra shot of stoutness and power. As much hope as we have for her show career, her value in production could exceed it. Incredible pedigree with superior phenotype - the biggest question left to determine is ownership when the gavel falls.
BRRN JULIET L904
Pleasant Hill Farms/Barron
If you have noticed over the last several sale seasons, our offerings have been rich with the influence of the original Red Jewel 760 donor, and the Barrons have brought their very own granddaughter of that breed matriarch to the sale this year. This February born dark cherry red female is so flexible in her structure, bold in her rib, and has the foundation to make a tremendous brood cow. L904 is the kind you can make money with year over year.

As phenotypically impressive as they come, Anthem’s genomically-enhanced EPD profile places 11 different EPD traits in the top 10% of the breed. Make sure to add Anthem to your fall breeding list and acquire your semen supply on October 14th!

A full brother to Anthem, Patriot stems from the extremely successful flush of Entourage and Sugar C4. The third high seller of the flush at $27,000, Patriot offers as many unique pieces as any Simmental bull we have seen, not the least of which is his facial color pattern. Foot, bone, true muscle dimension, extension and length of body, we could make a list of what we feel sets this bull apart. As is standard with this mating, Patriot boasts an impressive genomic spread on paper, with eight different EPD figures in the top 10% of the breed. Truth be told, we could not figure out which brother we liked better, so we decided to buy both and figure it out down the road. Take this opportunity to utilize this unique herd sire in your program.
