Improve Quality of Life with NASA Projects
NASA-funded research is being conducted at all levels on campus, from undergraduate to faculty. Two new student-led balloon projects could help farmers grow more food to meet an ever-increasing demand and guide scientists to improve connectivity in rural parts of the world. One of the $200,000 projects, a low-cost imager for aerial crop monitoring, is a direct result of a similar multi-spectral camera that electrical engineering senior Conrad Farnsworth built during the summer of 2015.
