Domestic Tourism in Trinidad and Tobago Get on Board with the Stay to Get Away Campaign 2016 Just in time for the 2016 July/August vacation, the Tourism Development Company Limited (TDC) is pleased to announce that the Stay to Get Away domestic campaign is back and set to run from August 1st to 31st. A timely and cost-effective initiative, Stay to Get Away is loaded with excellent deals and activities for everyone- families seeking a cost effective and fun filled vacation, couples looking for a romantic getaway and the discerning University student in search of an adrenaline rush. With a growth in household trips of 1.1% and the number of households taking trips increasing by 5.2%, the TDC is reintroducing this dynamic local campaign to improve the status and reach of domestic tourism in Trinidad and Tobago. Through partnerships with the Small Tourism Accommodation Owners’ of Trinidad and Tobago (STAOTT), Public Transport Services Corporation (PTSC), National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago, Lopinot Tourism Association, Professional Airline Training Solutions, and the Trinidad and Tobago Tourist Transport Service Association, many small and medium businesses have come on board, offering unbeatable rates for the Stay to Get Away Campaign.
