REYNOLDS PERFORMANCE HALL
Featuring 1,200 seats and state-of-the-art facilities, the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall provides countless opportunities for the performing arts — from concerts and renowned speakers to national touring companies — for the central Arkansas community to enjoy.
Despite numerous cancellations due to COVID-19, Reynolds Performance Hall continued to serve students and the community during the 2020-21 academic year. The facility held daily choir classes and hosted performers such as The Texas Tenors and The Midtown Men. Most notably however, was UCA’s first sensoryfriendly performance for children and adults with disabilities. This five-day residency program, hosted by autism expert Kevin Spencer, included teacher workshops and masterclasses for local students with disabilities.
MAIN STAGE EDUCATION
Reynolds also hosts The Main Stage EdUCAtion Series, which exposes pre-K through 12th grade students across Arkansas to live performing arts. Productions, performed by national touring companies, are based on historical events and other academic concepts. Due to the program’s success, a Main Stage Education Series endowment has been created to ensure the future of the program.
