ransferring can be exciting and sometimes overwhelming; however, once you choose to make UCA your home, we know you’ll find our community to be diverse, welcoming and challenging as you complete your degree.

2+2 AGREEMENT A 2+2 transfer agreement is the simplest way to ensure you are getting the most out of your transfer to UCA. The agreement outlines in detail which courses you can take at an Arkansas community college to earn an associate degree, while at the same time completing the first two years of your chosen baccalaureate degree program at UCA. Students fulfilling the agreement are welcomed to UCA as juniors. Learn more online! uca.edu/2plus2

TRANSFERRING TO UCA

TRANSFER ADMISSION PROCESS We encourage students to apply early to ensure the opportunity to start the housing and financial aid processes. Please follow these important steps:

Create an account and submit an online Undergraduate Application at gopurple.uca.edu.

Request that official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities, including those where high school concurrent credit was earned, be sent to the Office of Admissions. Note: Minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average on all transfer coursework is required for admission consideration.

Submit proof of two MMR shots or proper exemptions from the Arkansas Department of Health prior to registration. Students born before January 1, 1957, are exempt from this requirement.

Students with less than 24 earned credit hours at the time of application must submit an official high school transcript or GED and official ACT/SAT test scores that meet minimum freshman requirements, including: 2.5 high school GPA 17 ACT composite/900 SAT Minimum 15 ACT/SAT equivalent required for all subject sub-scores Applications are processed on a rolling basis throughout the year. It usually takes three weeks to process your application once all required materials are received. FINANCIAL AID The Office of Student Financial Aid works closely with incoming and current students to help fund and achieve educational goals. Your first step is to complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.ed.gov. UCA’s financial aid school code is 001092. Arkansas students need to complete the Academic Challenge Scholarship (lottery) application at scholarships.adhe.edu. We encourage you to apply as early as possible for both admission and financial aid. TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIPS Our transfer scholarship is awarded competitively and offers students up to $4,000 per year for fall and spring coursework. uca.edu/scholarships

REQUIREMENTS Open to all full-time, first-time UCA Applicants must be enrolled in at least 12 students transferring from an accredited credit hours for the Fall or Spring semester college/university immediately preceding enrollment at UCA Applicants must be seeking their first and have at least one semester of full-time bachelor’s degree credit (i.e., 12 credit hours). The report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, fire safety, university police law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or properties owned or controlled by UCA; and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
