RESIDENTIAL COLLEGES What’s the most unique aspect of UCA? Many would say it’s the residential college system. In residential colleges, classes are held in the same building where students live, giving them a chance to work closely with the faculty and upperclassmen in residence. This makes studying and doing homework together both convenient and productive. UCA has the first and largest living and learning community in the state, making it like no other experience on any other campus in Arkansas. uca.edu/residential

GO GREEK. For more than 100 years, our fraternities and sororities have been growing active communities dedicated to developing leadership, lifelong relationships and a whole lot of fun. Our latest addition is the first phase of Greek Village: five brand-new, on-campus, two-story sorority houses and a sorority community center for meetings and events — with construction of phase two starting fall 2019. We offer 22 Greek chapters, including seven historically African-American Greek organizations and a new chapter of Phi Iota Alpha, the oldest Latino fraternity in existence, and Sigma Iota Alpha, the second Latina sorority in the state.

Singer-songwriter and actor Nick Jonas, of the Jonas Brothers fame, wowed the crowd when he stopped by UCA’s Farris Center for a live performance in April 2018.

Reynolds Performance Hall and our Student Activities Board attract shows like “Fame” and bring celebrated acts such as Blue Man Group, Ke$ha, Nick Cannon and “Annie” to campus every year. The Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre, the only professional Shakespeare company in the state, makes its home at UCA. Plus, when you go off campus, the excitement continues with great restaurants, live music, boutiques and local culture. You’re always near the action in central Arkansas.
