Naomi Safran-Hon grew up in Haifa, Israel, and resides in Brooklyn, NY. In this body of work, she investigates the relationship to her homeland and its ongoing conflict, exploring the fragility of the human experience. House Without Home brings together 13 paintings depicting houses that have ceased to be homes. The paintings combine fabric, cement, pigment, acrylic, and photographs to tell the stories of these structures and their former inhabitants.
