The catalogue was published on the occasion of the exhibition Len Lye: The New Yorker and considers a very specific period in the life of the experimental filmmaker and kinetic artist Len Lye – between 1944, when he migrated from Britain to the United States, and 1961, the year his kinetic sculpture appeared at New York's Museum of Modern Art.
