ALL ADVENTURE ENTHUSIASTS WELCOME

Clearwater has year-round sunshine, so it is easy to get outdoors and find your perfect adventure while visiting. Adventure enthusiasts will have no shortage of excitement in Clearwater from the Gulf, freshwater lakes and springs to hiking and biking trails. The Gulf of Mexico is rich in wildlife such as dolphins, turtles, hundreds of bird species along with many thousands of fish species. Did you know that Clearwater is the Grouper Capital of the World? One thing Clearwater Beach is famous for is fresh seafood and Grouper pulled right off the boats. The most commonly caught here are the Red Grouper and Gag Grouper, if you want “reel” adventure catch one of these.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH & BEACH: HIDDEN OUTDOOR GEMS

When nature calls there are lots of scenic trails for hiking and biking from wooded areas beachside to bayside rides. Moccasin Lake Nature Park is ideal for a gentle nature adventure, and to take it up a notch I suggest Caladesi Island State Park located at the north point of Clearwater. Biking is a way of life here, and we have the trails to prove it, with the newest edition in Clearwater being the Courtney Campbell Trail. This trail is over 10-miles long traveling along the edge of Tampa Bay, you are sure to experience wildlife on your ride. Getting active outdoors is easy. Deciding where to go in Clearwater with so many options is the only hard part.
