YOUR JOURNEY STARTS HERE A Landmark vacation is thoroughly planned, well-paced, and very inclusive. By pairing the "must-sees" of each region with enriching cultural elements, we ensure our guests truly experience each destination. It's the reason so many of our travelers return each year to
"Go with Landmark!"

Introduction | The Landmark Experience
THE LANDMARK EXPERIENCE 30 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
As we celebrate our 30-year anniversary, we also celebrate a reputation throughout the industry of high-quality vacations to destinations across the globe. We've continued to add new itineraries and enhance our classic trips based off of feedback from you - our Landmark family!
INCLUSIVE VALUE
To avoid unpleasant surprises caused by hidden costs, we choose to be inclusive when designing our tours. You know upfront what your vacation experience will cost. This transparency is one of the ways we build trust with our guests, and why they enjoy returning to travel with us again.
ROUNDTRIP AIRFARE INCLUDED
Researching and booking air can be stressful. Let us handle the details. All of our tours include roundtrip airfare from more than 50 gateway cities across the United States. Upon arrival in the destination city, transportation from the airport to our hotel is always included. For a full list of gateway cities, reference page 86.
QUALITY ACCOMMODATIONS
A Landmark vacation includes an array of national brands, boutiquestyle hotels, and historical properties, all in carefully selected locations. At El Monte Sagrado in Taos, NM you’ll enjoy stunning, adobe architecture and beautiful landscaping (Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta). The boutique RIU Hotel in Times Square is just a short walk to your award-winning Broadway play (New York City: The Big Apple). All accommodations meet or exceed our high quality standards, and we’re always striving for improvement. We’re proud of our selections and invite you to see each tour page for a list of trip accommodations.
DELUXE MOTORCOACH
You will travel in comfort on a Landmark tour. Our modern motorcoaches all offer easy loading & unloading, a climate control system, large tinted picture windows, and restrooms. Many also include WiFi and AC outlets.
FOR YOUR DINING ENJOYMENT
Dining is a main ingredient of a memorable vacation, and is as carefully choreographed as our tour routing. Meals that highlight the local culture and cuisine enrich and elevate your travel experience. Enjoy a sunset dinner on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, or learn about Cajun cuisine at the New Orleans School of Cooking. You’ll always have a full breakfast included in the morning, some lunches, and many memorable dinners while traveling with us.
EXPERIENCE YOUR DESTINATION
Our itineraries pair the “must-sees” of each region with enriching cultural elements. We are committed to ensuring that our guests truly experience each destination. Instead of a quick visit to Yellowstone National Park, we embark on a wildlife safari deep into the park and away from the crowds where we'll see wildlife such as wolves, bears, caribou, and more! Or learn about the Sugarin’ business when visiting a 200-year-old, family run Maple Farm on our Autumn in New England tour. Our depth of planning provides exceptional experiences that will leave you satisfied and create long-lasting memories.
YOUR DEDICATED TOUR MANAGER
Tour Managers are a critical component in our well-planned vacations. Landmark Tour Managers are trained and empowered to ensure a smooth and seamless tour. They'll provide expert commentary throughout your vacation and are equipped with tips on where to eat and what to explore during your free time. Complemented by local guides and historians with a deep knowledge of the local area, they will work hard to deliver an unforgettable travel experience.
WORRY-FREE GUEST PROTECTION
Peace of mind should accompany a quality travel experience. Our Guest Protection Plan provides valuable comfort before and during your trip. For more information on our comprehensive coverage plan, see page 87.
FINAL TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
It is our priority to ensure that you are prepared for your upcoming vacation. Approximately three weeks before your trip you will receive your Final Travel Documents. This packet contains important information needed before you embark on your journey. We’ll send instructions on joining the group, a hotel list, any included flight information, a passenger list, luggage tags, tour maps, and other useful details pertaining to your vacation.
COMMITTED TO OUR ENVIRONMENT
Beginning in 2020, Landmark Tours will be eliminating single-use plastic water bottles from our coaches. Instead, we will be providing all of our travelers with a reusable water bottle. This will save almost 10,000 bottles from ending up in our landfills and oceans! Thank you in advance for helping us make a difference.

Introduction | Why Landmark?
WHY LANDMARK?
Dale & Peggy - Blaine, MN
We found Landmark through some trusted friends. Landmark has excellent planners and we know we are in capable, experienced hands. The fact that we have made so many new friends along the way is fantastic. Seven trips later and we are still coming back for more!
Bill & Vicki - Maplewood, MN
The first time I traveled with Landmark Tours, I was "hooked". Everything is superior - the Tour Managers, hotels, and transportation. Everything is a treasured memory that will never fade. I look forward to traveling with Landmark Tours year after year to build more of those precious memories.

Having traveled with other companies before going with Landmark, we had something to compare them to. We were impressed with the wellplanned itinerary and how organized everything was. We experienced exemplary service before, during, and after our trip. We now have great confidence in this family run business and we are planning to take two more trips with them this year!
Ruthie - Demascus, MD
Bud & Kathy - West St. Paul, MN
Why Landmark? Because Landmark gets it! I don't need a vacation from my life or my home. I live in a beautiful place and when I leave home, I want an adventure. Landmark gets that - they take care of every possible detail and I go on an adventure!!!
Maureen - Hastings, MN

We've been on 11 domestic and 6 international Landmark Tours and highly commend their planning and attention to details for all sites, lodging, meals, and entertainment involved. Our only problem has been trying to choose which Landmark tours to plan for each year!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS When should I make my reservation?
Why do single travelers have to pay more?
Once you have decided on a tour, we suggest making your reservation as soon as possible to ensure availability. Many of our tours sell out shortly after they are released to the public.
If you are traveling by yourself, the costs of hotel accommodations are incurred by one person instead of two. Therefore, single accommodations cost more than “double” or “triple” packages. A limited number of single rooms are available on each tour.
How are air reservations handled? All Double & Single Package costs include roundtrip air from most major U.S. gateways. Please refer to page 86 for details. If you would like to purchase your own air, we offer a Without Air package. You'll find the Without Air cost reduction amount on each tour page, directly under the Tour Cost Per Person. If arranging your own air, please confirm schedules with Landmark before purchasing. Please note that airline schedules are subject to change and Landmark is unable to confirm air schedules sooner than 30 days before tour departure.
Can Landmark Tours assist in finding a roommate? Yes. If you are a single traveler interested in finding a roommate for the trip, we can coordinate pairing you with an additional traveler if one is found. Please note that we will never finalize the double reservation until you have had the opportunity to thoroughly discuss the matter with your prospective roommate. We will always await confirmation from both travelers before proceeding.
What kind of hotels do you book? As a longtime tour operator, we understand the importance of quality accommodations. We select each hotel with a focus on amenities, comfort, and location, and we’re proud to list the names and cities of the hotels being used in each tour package.
Are triple accommodations offered? Yes. Some hotels offer a rollaway bed at additional cost, although we are unable to guarantee availability. Two travelers may be required to share a queen or double bed. Please be aware that this may not be comfortable for three adults. Contact us for Triple pricing for your desired trip.
I'm nervous about traveling solo. How do you help? With Landmark Tours, traveling solo doesn't mean you will be traveling alone. You'll share your trip with like-minded travelers who are all excited to see and explore, just like you! On a Landmark tour, you can feel safe knowing the details are covered and you'll enjoy many experiences that might be difficult to do on your own.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many beds are in each room? Rooms will have either two queens or two double beds. Although not guaranteed, a limited number of king beds may be available and must be requested at the time of reservation.
What do the Hotels serve for Breakfast? A full breakfast will be included each day. Typically breakfast will be buffetstyle and include a selection of breads, jam, cereal, fruits, coffee, tea, milk, and juice. Most buffets will also include eggs, meats, pastries and yogurt. On occasion, a cooked to order breakfast will be available for each guest.
What is typical for an included Dinner? Dinner will vary depending on our location, sometimes being served at local restaurants or at our hotel. Most dinners offer a choice of entrée with some selections made at the dinner table and others selected ahead of time. In order to accommodate a variety of preferences and guest dietary requirements, or to facilitate a busy schedule, some dinners will be served buffet-style.
How do you arrange seating on the Motorcoach? Seating is assigned and a rotation system is used. Each day our guests will occupy a different seat. In order to provide a fair experience for all passengers, we are unable to accept special seating requests and appreciate your participation with the rotation system.
Is there a restroom on the Motorcoach? Yes, although we plan our tours so that the typical time between restroom stops is no longer than 1.5 to 2 hours.
How much time will I spend in the Motorcoach? Each tour day varies depending on the itinerary and the number of miles that are involved. Morning departures generally range from 8:00am to 9:00am. Hotel arrivals are scheduled anywhere from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. We plan our tours so that the typical amount of time between stops on the motorcoach is no longer than 1.5 to 2 hours.
How often will I need to carry my own luggage?
Where do I meet the Tour Manager?
Whenever luggage service is available at a hotel, it will be included. Occasionally, guests will have to wheel luggage in and out of a hotel. However, most hotels offer this service.
The meeting point will be indicated in your Final Travel Documents which will be sent three weeks prior to your departure. In most cases, you will meet the Tour Manager at the airport in the city where the tour begins.
Are airline baggage fees included? Due to airline group booking constraints, we are unable to pre-pay baggage fees. This will be the responsibility of each traveler to be paid at check-in for the flight. This can be best handled by credit card.
May I request airline seating assignments? Most Landmark Tours packages include group air reservations. With group air reservations, seating assignments are controlled by the airlines and special requests are sometimes not available until check-in. Seating requests are due at the time of booking and we will communicate all requests to the airlines, but we are unable to guarantee seats. It is possible that you may not be seated next to your traveling companion. Upgrades are based on availability at the time of ticketing, approximately 30 days prior to the trip's departure.
May I extend my stay before or after the Tour? Yes. Independent departures and pre/post-tour extensions must be confirmed prior to the final payment date. Honoring these requests will be dependent upon availability of air and hotel space. Contact us if you are thinking about extending your stay.
Do I need a passport? For all trips outside of the United States, a U.S. Passport Book will be required to cross the border whether travel is by land, air, or sea. U.S. Customs suggests that your passport’s expiration date be no sooner than six months after your travel ends.
May I bring a wheelchair or other walking assistance device? Foldable wheelchairs and walkers are allowed on tour, but are not permitted onboard the motorcoach and must be stored in the baggage compartment underneath. Passengers intending to bring a wheelchair or walker must notify Landmark Tours when registering. Landmark Tours regrets it cannot provide individual assistance to a guest for walking, wheelchairs, or other personal needs. Guests needing assistance must be accompanied by an able companion who can assist them.
Are customer tips for the Tour Manager & Driver included? Tips for the Tour Manager and Driver are not included in the tour package. You are encouraged to express your appreciation for their work and contribution to your overall enjoyment of the trip.
Are tips for other services included? Tipping is included in the tour pricing for all activities prearranged by Landmark Tours. This includes hotel staff, restaurants, and additional included services such as step-on guides. Tipping for any independent meals or activities will be the responsibility of the traveler.
What attire should I pack? Climate will vary in different destinations. We will send you Final Travel Documents three weeks prior to your departure. Within these documents, we will provide local weather information so that you can properly prepare for the tour.
What is the pace of a tour? For your convenience, we have assigned Activity Levels to each tour. This is noted on each individual tour page next to “Tour Cost Per Person.” Please reference Page 88 (Terms & Conditions) for additional details and an explanation of each level.
What will I receive prior to my tour? Your final documents will be in your possession approximately 3 weeks before your departure. Documents include tour itinerary, departure and flight information, hotel information, clothing and packing suggestions, baggage tags, and any helpful hints. You will also receive a reusable water bottle to bring with you on tour and a strap for securing your luggage. Guests traveling overseas will also receive an outlet adapter and backpack!

If a Tour Guest has purchased airfare through a different source, or arranged it on their own, Landmark Tours, Inc. is not responsible for a refund of these expenses. Prior to booking air individually outside of a Landmark Tours, Inc. package, it is required that each Tour Guest discuss flight plans with Landmark Tours, Inc. before booking. If a Tour Guest’s air itinerary does not align with the group’s itinerary, it is the Tour Guest’s responsibility to make arrangements to join the group. Guests with Special Needs: You must advise Landmark Tours at the time your booking is made of any disability requiring special attention. Neither Landmark Tours personnel, nor its suppliers, may lift or physically assist Tour Guests. If a Tour Guest requires assistance, we require that he/she be accompanied by a companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance. Be aware that the Americans with Disabilities Act is applicable only within the United States and that accommodations for disabled travelers outside of the United States may be more limited. Additionally, some hotels may not have accessible rooms with two beds. Tour Pace: Walking is required in addition to consistently exiting and boarding the motorcoach. Furthermore, some attractions will require additional walking as there can be limited bus access. If concerned, it is the Tour Guest’s responsibility to consult a physician to see if the tour is suitable. Please read the below general guidelines: 1) Landmark Tours packages are suited for travelers who are able to comfortably walk 1/2 mile in approximately 15 minutes. 2) If you are unable to keep pace with the other travelers in your group the Tour Manager may request that you stay near the motorcoach and forgo sightseeing that entails additional walking. If you are separated from the group during this time, it is the individual responsibility of the traveler to arrive at the pre-designated departure point at the agreed time. If third party transportation is required (i.e. a taxi), it will be at the traveler’s personal expense. 3) There will be occasions when staying on the motorcoach during stops is not allowed. At this time, all passengers must exit the motorcoach to allow the driver to lock the doors and take a break. 4) The group’s overall enjoyment is the primary responsibility of the Tour Manager. If you are consistently unable to keep up with the pace of your fellow travelers it can impede your safety or the other travelers’ enjoyment of the tour. The Tour Manager may request that you leave the tour. The resulting costs will be the personal responsibility of the traveler. Activity Level: For your convenience, we have assigned Activity Levels to each tour. This is noted on each individual tour page next to “Tour Cost Per Person.” Below is a description of each level: 1 - Easy: A leisurely pace with minimal activity to include climbing stairs, boarding the motorcoach, and walking within hotels and ships. 2 - Relaxed: Guests should be able to walk intermittently with occasional inclines and stair climbs, including on and off the motorcoach throughout the day. 3 - Active: This program includes a blend of longer and shorter days with walking tours. Tour Guests should expect 1 - 2 hours of walking each day, including uneven surfaces and stair climbs, with opportunities to rest between attractions. 4 - Moderately Challenging: This program includes longer touring days with more walking tours and standing. Tour Guests should expect 2 - 3 hours of walking each day. Some sites may be inaccessible by bus and include rocky or uneven ground and stair climbs. 5 - Challenging: This is a more physical touring experience that involves longer walking tour on uneven surfaces, may involve wet or windy conditions at sites, and long periods of standing. Tour Guests should expect 4 - 5 hours of walking each day.
