Building on Yesterday

Throughout our 150-year history, Gamma Phi Beta has hosted numerous Conventions, with the inaugural event dating back to 1883 in Syracuse. Convention is equal parts business and fun. The Sorority's knack for the latter shines brightly during the beloved Confirmed Conventioneers parade. This beloved Convention tradition unites women of all ages, each sporting hats adorned with carnations representing the number of Conventions attended. From bucket hats to floppy beach hats to virtual hats, sisters have worn it all to show off their Gamma Phi Beta pride.
