Experience: Little Tikes Product Design Contractor June 2011-present Currently working with the infant and preschool team to develop new, innovative toys for the mass market. Sketching, rendering, foam modeling, problem solving. Radio Flyer Inc. Industrial Design Intern June-August 2010 Helped the product development team with research, developing concepts, and creating mock-ups for their 2010 and 2011 toy line. Experience included on-site researching and interviewing, brainstorming, concept drawing and rendering, refining, prototyping. TGA Design Environmental Graphic Design Intern May-August 2009 Worked within a small design studio collaborating on concepts and ideas for way finding solutions in and outside of environments. Tasks included brainstorming, concepting and developing way finding and environmental graphic design solutions for clients. Fisher-Price Sponsored studio Spring semester 2010 Worked with designers from Fisher-Price on developing a new arts and crafts toy. Little Tikes Sponsored studio Spring semester 2009 Worked with designers from Little Tikes on a project for a new outdoor water toy. General Electric /CIA Sponsored studio Spring semester 2009 Worked with group of student designers for GE coming up with applications for OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology for light trade show exhibit. Concepting, rendering, modeling, and prototyping Cuyahoga Planning Commission/ CVI Sponsored project Fall semester 2009 Researched biomimicry and implemented biomimetic process to come up with a solution for enhancing plant and organism life along the Cuyahoga River.
