INTRODUCTION
I
For the past two days, I’ve also realised it will not be possible for a single entity like Breede Valley Municipality [UTSC] to respond to all the challenges that continue to face our disadvantaged communities, especially when it comes to accessibility of government services. Therefore, it is important that we keep on working together in partnership as stakeholders to provide a platform that ensures equitable and effective access to government services and information. Going forward, I have no doubt that this programme will keep on expanding and reach more numbers in all areas of this Cape Winelands district. Lastly, I want to call upon everyone especially youth to step up and utilize wisely all the opportunities provided by this collective vehicle called Mobile Thusong Program in order to achieve their dreams. To all the stakeholders, let us continue to ensure that government services are accessible to all as enshrined in our Constitution of 1996.
INTRODUCTION
t gives me great pleasure to present this year’s pictorial report of the Thusong Mobile Programme; a sneak preview [highlights] of another successful programme. I guess for someone sitting on the other side of the table; organizing an event of this magnitude would seem so easy, but through my experience I’ve realised it takes hard-work, competency and good team spirit.
