Vegetation: Exiting vegetation (Reference from 5605 note) Betula Sp, Alnus Sp, Salix Sp, Junus Sp, Luxe Europea, Festuca Sp, Pteridum aquilinum Rabus fruticosus, frainum excelsior, rosa carnina, Crataegus sp (Hawthorn), Larix decidua Suggested plants for the site: A leaf shape cycling path will be constructed along the ancient woodland located at the east of the site. Ancient woodland contains lot of precious species of trees, shrub, fungi and is undisturbed by human activities. It has its unique local soil, microclimate and culture. In order to preserve the natural beauty and the ecosystem of the ancient woodland, most of the existing plants will be kept especially the old trees which are valuable to the wildlife habitat but will be organized at a better way in order to provide a better scenic view to visitors. Trees and shrub to be planted around the ancient woodland: Exiting vegetation (Reference AD5605 note) Betula Sp, Alnus Sp, Salix Sp, Junus Sp, Luxe Europea, Festuca Sp, Pteridum aquilinum Rabus fruticosus, frainum excelsior, rosa carnina, Crataegus sp (Hawthorn), Larix decidua Alder (Alnus glutlnosa),Ash (Fraximls excelsior), Birch downy (Betula pubescens),Beech, common (Fagus sylvatica),Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus),Pine, scots (Pines sylvestris),Willow, goat (Salix caprea),Willow, white (Salix alba),Oak (Quercus nobur),Yew (Taxus baccata), Shrub: Alder buchthorn (Frangula alnus),Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea),Hazel (Corylus avellana), Willow Bay (Salix pentandra),Prunus spinose Mosses: Rhizomnium punctatum, Rhytidiadelphus loreus and Rhytidiadelphys triquetrus

Large part of the ancient woodland is divided into six zones within the cycling path area. Zone1: Apart from the above mentioned trees and shrubs will be planted around the ancient woodland. Willdflowers, grass, ferns and herbaceous plants will be widely used to provide a better view. Plants: Carex remota, Anemone nemorosa, Honeysuckle, Cowparseley, Cowslip, and Luzula pilosa, Polypodium aculeatum, Zone 2:


Opposite to zone 1: Polypodium interjectum, Polypodium aculeatum, Carex remota, Galium palustre, Lily of the valley, snowdrop, Dryopoteris affinis Zone 3: Carex remota, Luzula pilosa, Galium Odoratum, Ficaria Verna, Oxeye daisy, Oxalis acetosella, Dryopoteris affinis Zone4: Carex remota, Luzula pilosa, Valeriana officinalis, Vacanium myrtillus, Lonicera periclymenum, Orchis macula, Dryopoteris affinis Zone5 and Zone 6: A bluebell carpet will be planted at the both zone 5 and zone 6.
