Preparing for Sunday and Beyond Looking Ahead
Friday greetings, Grace-St. Luke’s! Sunday, November 22, The Last Sunday after Pentecost: Christ the King. Tune in at 9:15 a.m. for a 30-minute virtual formation offering followed by 10:30 a.m. worship, and 5:30 p.m. prerecorded service of music and reflection. 9:15 a.m. Formation: Racial Healing: A Lifelong Journey, Part 2 with Dr. Tim Huebner & The Rev. For Children. All children are invited to the 20-minute virtual Prayer Table for conversation, songs, stories, and prayer via Zoom after the 10:30 service. For Youth. November 22: EYC will gather at Snowden Field, located at 2233 Harbert Ave., for an early Christmas movie! We will be watching Elf from 5-6:45 p.m. with Calvary. Annual Meeting of the Parish (Virtual), Sunday, December 6, 9:15 a.m. All members and
newcomers are asked to participate in this important virtual meeting. A small group will be gathered in Trezevant Hall to conduct the meeting and engage remote participation via the Zoom Meeting platform and the use of election voting software called ElectionBuddy. Paper ballots for return or hand-deliver to the church office by Friday, December 4, are being mailed to the homes of members who are noninternet users with a copy of the online “Nominees for Vestry Class of 2023 " guide and other materials. All meeting details including virtual access, agenda, vestry nominee biographical statements, and the voting process will be maintained online at www.gracestlukes.org/annualmeeting2020 and shared via eNews.
