Checks may be mailed to St. Columba Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center, 4577 Billy Maher Road, Memphis, TN 38135. You may also donate online by visiting www.givingsites.com/calledtogrow/ways-to-give.php. Please note on the memo line on your

check or in the additional information section online that your gift is in honor of Bishop and Mrs. Johnson.

Called to Grow, St. Columba Presentation (Apr. 7) On April 7 during Coffee Hour (immediately following the 10:30 service), all are invited to the parish hall for refreshments and a 15-minute presentation by St. Columba’s Called to Grow campaign leaders and staff. St. Columba, our diocesan retreat center, is a place that welcomes, refreshes, equips, and transforms over 7,000 guests and campers each year. Grace-St. Luke’s parishioners and others around the diocese and beyond have enjoyed the benefits of this beautiful space for retreats, camps, Happenings, picnics, and more. Through the Called to Grow capital campaign, the facilities will be enhanced and expanded so that for years to come we will be able to continue participating in all that St. Columba has to offer. Please join us in Trezevant Hall to hear more about this exciting time in the life of our diocesan retreat center.

Take Note

Your Help is Needed Grace-St. Luke’s will soon change our decades-old membership software to a newer version. We want to transfer current membership records, not your old outdated records! The information we keep in our records are adult and childrens’ names and birthdates, home and cell numbers, addresses (physical and email). If your information has changed, please visit www.gracestlukes.org/update-your-contact-information.

Outreach Ministry

Mariposas Collective Whether you’re getting a jump on your spring cleaning or your kids have just outgrown their winter clothes, we have the place for you to donate! The Mariposas Collective, located at First Congregational on Cooper, ministers to migrants in transit. They provide clothing to families released from detention during stop overs at the Greyhound bus station in Memphis. Many of these families are dressed in the clothes they wore during the journey from Central America and are not attired for the cold weather they will face as they travel northward. Donations of gently used heavy jackets, coats, scarves, gloves, or similar cold weather items for children would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers staff the Collective’s space at First Congo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. M-F. The entrance is on the East side of the church adjacent to the Hostel. A phone number to gain access is posted at the door. If you want more information on this effort, please send an email to mariposascollective at gmail.com.
