Live at GSL: Celebrating 901 | January through May Events – to be announced. Similar to former "Third Thursdays," adults of all ages and stages gather in Trezevant Hall for fun evenings of hearty appetizers, beverages, and presentations by an array of 901 community leaders and organizations. RECREATION and WELLNESS Recreation includes soccer, flag football, baseball, t-ball, softball, and basketball for children, junior kindergarten to fourth grade. Wellness includes Pilates, yoga, addiction support, and 12-step programs, and past offerings such as a mindfulness and meditation series, and more for adults, youth, and children. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: OUTREACH and JUSTICE All are encouraged to support GSL in-house ministries (Food Pantry, More Than A Meal) and volunteer with our Servant Ministry Partners that focus on the poor and needy, and respect for the dignity of every human being, and advocacy-focused initiatives like MICAH (Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope) that are committed to understanding and addressing the systemic causes of inequitable circumstances throughout the human family. MUSIC In addition to glorious music on Sunday mornings and evenings at our worship offerings, music at GSL includes choirs for adults, youth, and children; concerts sponsored by the Friends of Music Guild; home of the Memphis Boy & Girl Choir; and impressive performances by a variety of community organizations and individuals.
