July’s special display will feature recommended summer reads with emphasis on humor, spiritual works, inspiring biographies and stories both fiction and non-fiction that lift the spirits and the soul. We’re asking patrons to recommend a favorite book, tell us why it is a great read and we’ll add it to the display for others to enjoy. We’ll also be highlighting our online NoveList resources available to all library users from our website. These resources can help you find books that are just the right match for everyone in the family, from early readers to adults. Find more books by your favorite author or explore similar authors, find award winners or the next book in a series you’re reading. Get recommendations about a specific subject at any reading level.
NoveList is a great source of information for book discussion groups looking for suggestions and discussion guides. Share your best reads this summer with the community at the library.

For children grades K-6. There is also a separate “Readto-Me” program for preschoolers. Hop aboard and keep your reading skills sharp this summer. Ask at the library how you can still take part in the program.
Teens Read Around the World Ongoing until July 10 If you’ve just joined the community it’s still possible to sign up for our Teens Read program. Enjoy reading whatever you like best! Choose books that take you to different geographical locations and travel the world. Or, take a fantasy voyage, travel back in time or to the future.
