Indoor Bouldering Nights in Nuremberg
October 6 Bouldering is rock climbing stripped down to its raw essentials. Leaving behind ropes and harnesses and just using climbing shoes and a bag of chalk over safety mats. Your challenge is to climb short but tricky bouldering “problems” (a route, or sequence of moves) using balance, technique, strength and your brain.
Texas Hold’Em Tournament
October 9, 6:45 p.m. Come out to the Zone and enjoy one of America’s favorite card games. Texas Hold’ Em is one of the most popular variants of poker and has fascinated players for many years. The widespread appeal of this game is owed in part to the simplicity and entertainment value inherent in it.
Painting with Friends
October 9, 6:45 p.m. Come out to the Zone and paint your heart away all while laughing and joking! Each class we paint a “special” surprise painting that gets unveiled the day of. Sign up early as our class fills up quickly.
Parent’s Night Out

Hike the Cliffs of Cinque Terre
October 10-12 Along a beautifully isolated six-mile stretch of the most seductive corner of the Italian Riviera lie the Cinque Terre — five (cinque) small, traffic-free towns gently and steadily carving a good life out of difficult terrain. Explore the 5 cliff-side villages over 3 days of amazing food, wine, and pure, unadulterated Italy. Each night we’ll be returning to tents, overlooking the stunning Ligurian Sea to share stories and great company.

Indoor Rope Climbing Nights in Regensburg
October 20 Want to learn to climb or just staying strong for the real rock? The indoor climbing gym in Regensburg is a great place to harness-in, rope-up and get pumped. Come with ODR and receive a discount on entry and gear rental.
Stubai Ski Weekend
October 24 & 25 Austria’s largest glacier skiing area offers 34 slopes from easy to challenging. The highlights in the “Kingdom of Snow” are the 10 km long valley descent Wilde Grub’n, the snowpark Moreboards Stubai Zoo with Easy, Medium and Pro-Line and the Powder Department Stubai Galcier.

Expo 2015 will give everyone the opportunity to find out about and taste the world’s best dishes.
Rainbow Loom Club

Halloween in the Frankenstein Castle
October 31 Welcome to the biggest Halloween party in Germany! The event takes place annually in the ruins of the Frankenstein castle with more than 70 monsters waiting to scare and spook. Party throughout the castle grounds with stage shows, refreshments and food. Entrance allowed to 14 year olds and above only.
Hip Hop Halloween Party
October 31, 7 p.m.-2 a.m. Get dressed up and enjoy Halloween with BOSS. The Zone is throwing a fun, spooky party, playing all your Hip Hop favorites. Food and drinks will be available to purchase. See you there.

Ongoing Programs Children Story Time
Wednesdays, 11 a.m. (Lapsit) Thursday, 10 a.m. Starting October 14, while Ms. Nan is on leave, Story Time is on hiatus. We will return on October 22 with more fun songs, rhymes, and stories for ages 2-5! Lapsit returns on October 28!
