Calendar of Events Nuremberg Getaway Weekend November 8-10 Since the Middle Ages Nuremberg has been regarded as one of the cityies most closely tied to European Identity. The famous Kaiserburg (the main castle of the Holy Roman Emperor) sits on the top of the central hill within the city walls. The allies understood that it had become the perfect venue to put those same personages on trial at the famous “Nuremberg Trials” following World War II. It has the most famous Christmas Market of all. There is a toy museum celebrating its central position in the craft of making children’s toys. The German National Museum is one of the best for the cultural aspects. Price: $250 per adult, $ 125 per child. Single supplements available for an additional $45 per night.
