Elf on the Shelf
Ongoing until December 18 Meet Libby, our Library Elf on the Shelf! She will be having lots of fun every day now until Dec. 18, so come in, pick up your BINGO board, and then when you find her each day, mark it on your board. When you have a BINGO, you can get a small prize! What will Libby be up to next?!? Just remember: No Touching the Elf! Ages 3-10.
Gingerbread House Contest
December 1 - 11 Get those creative juices flowing, stock up on candies and graham crackers, and build your dream gingerbread house! Entry forms available at the library. Open to all ages. Entries will be displayed by Dec. 4 for public voting through Dec. 11. Winners will be announced Dec. 15.
Indoor Bouldering Night in Nuremberg
December 1 Bouldering is rock climbing stripped down to its raw essentials. Leaving behind ropes and harnesses and just using climbing shoes and a bag of chalk over safety mats. Your challenge is to climb short but tricky bouldering “problems� (a route, or sequence of moves) using balance, technique, strength and your brain.
Drop-In Christmas Craft
December 1 - 18, 2-4 p.m. Join us at the library for a Christmas Craft session, ages 3-10 may participate. One craft per child.
Pyramid Festival at Dresden Christmas Market
December 12 Christmas pyramids, smoking figures and candle holders from Erzgebirge Mountains, indigo-dyed printed textile products and pottery from Lusatia, Herrenhut Advent stars, blown glass tree decorations from Lauscha, and of course specialties from Dresden itself - a real treasure trove for traditional hand-made crafts.
Learn to Ski the Alps
December 12 We are taking you to beautiful Garmisch for your introduction to your life-long love affair with skiing. Let our time-tested instruction bring you from zero to hero in the space of one snowy day. Lessons are provided by professionally certified PSIA and AASI instructors. Lift passes are not included in trip price.
Indoor Rope Climbing Night in Regensburg
December 15 Want to learn to climb or just staying strong for the real rock? The indoor climbing gym in Regensburg is a great place to harness-in, rope-up and get pumped. Come with us and receive a discount on entry and gear rental.
Holiday Extravaganza & Tree Lighting December 4, 4 p.m.
B1 Lower Parking Lot, General Patton Dr. Ring in the season with an evening of fun, happiness and excitement. Bring the Family and friends and help us light up the BIG TREE while you grab a hot beverage. Follow Santa to the Elementary School for photos and holiday treats before heading over to the Theater for the Holiday Concert! Don’t forget to join Santa’s Workshop!
Karaoke Night
December 18, 7 -11 p.m. Come to The Zone and jam! Sing all your favorites. Drinks available to purchase. See you there.
Express Ski at Zugspitz Arena
December 19 A winter holiday at the Zugspitze – a paradise for skiers. Transportation to this beautiful alpine ski destination is included in your trip fee. Lift tickets and gear rentals are available at an additional fee.
