MOMMY/DADDY & ME: ZOMBIE BRAIN CUPCAKES September 10, noon - 1 p.m. Get in the spirit for the Halloween season - make zombie brain cupcakes with your family! During this class you will learn how to fill and decorate these deliciously creepy cupcakes to look like brains. Once finished, you'll have a tasty treat for you and your little zombie to enjoy! This is a hands on pastry arts class. Cost: $10 for 1 parent + 1 child, $2 for each additional child (supplies included)

HOME DÉCOR: UPCYCLE HALLOWEEN LUMINARY JARS September 16, 10 a.m. - noon Learn how to make a spooky upcycled luminary jar, perfect to decorate your home for Halloween. During this class you will learn how to tint your jar and paint a Halloween scene. Cost: $10 (paint included, please bring clean 12-32oz jar to upcycle)

WILD B.O.A.R. OUTDOOR RECREATION

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS EXPRESS TRIP September 9-11 The city of Amsterdam has a way of getting your attention. Amsterdam is famous for its canal houses, windmills, narrow streets and bicycle riders. Rich merchants built gabled houses along neatly laid canals. The best way to see Amsterdam is by walking or taking the many trams that go around the city. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and don’t forget to bring an umbrella. The Dam Square is the city's heart and the site of the original dam across the Amstel River that gave the city its name. Encircling the square are the Royal Palace, the New Church, several department stores, hotels and restaurants. Museumplein is the main cultural center, with the Rijksmuseum, Concertgebouw, van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum nearby. A visit to Amsterdam is not complete without a visit to the Anne Frank House. Passport Required. Cost: $89 per adult, $69 per child (3-12), $10 per child under 3

OKTOBERFEST DAY TRIPS September 17, 24 & October 1 This is an absolutely “must see” for anyone who has never been! Each year the fest gets bigger and bigger than before. From drinking a “Mass’’ in the tents while being entertained with the traditional Bavarian music, to the famous roller coasters, the biggest Volksfest in the world has it all. You can reserve seats in a particular tent by contacting the company who owns it. But be fast everyone wants to be at the Oktoberfest. Get more information about this year’s fest at www.oktoberfest.de. ODR drops you off within walking distance of the Oktoberfest fest grounds. Cost $44 per adult, $34 per child (3-12), $10 per child under 3

FISHING COURSE September 23-25 Hungry for some fish? Interested in learning how to catch them and earn your fishing license? At the Wild B.O.A.R. Outdoor Recreation you can do just that. Join us as we learn how to outsmart and catch all the fish we could ever dream of. Participants must enroll prior to the start of the class. Times of class: Friday: 6-9 p.m., Saturday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost: $65 (including one year membership)

END OF SEASON PAINTBALL TOURNAMENT

September 24, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Ready to end the Wild B.O.A.R. paintball season in 1st place? Come fight the competition for the trophy and bragging rights! Form a squad of 3 buddies and register beforehand, spots are limited. Due to German and Army regulations, only U.S. ID card holders 18 years and older can participate. Only Wild B.O.A.R. markers and paint will be allowed during these events. Cost: $20 player fee (includes paintball marker, mask, field usage, and air for the marker). Paint: $80 for 2000 rounds, $25 for 500 rounds

September 14, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tower Barracks Library Survey your world through a series of Military History discussions. We’re showing short presentations and having great historical discussions.
