50 Years of Graham Take a step back in time to 1972, when Graham Real Estate First opened its doors. For locals and resorters alike, 198 E. Main Street was – and still is – a Harbor Springs landmark.

Welcome to 198 E. Main Street!

The firm was started by life-long local Tom Graham when he moved back to Harbor Springs after finishing college and returning from his service in the military.

In the beginning, the winter months saw listings few and far between. “I can remember months without a sale,” recalls Tom. But eventually, the town expanded and Graham Real Estate’s roots solidified. By going door to door introducing himself, Tom was quick to make a name in Harbor Springs.

In ’78 it was time for a facelift - a secound level was added to Graham’s building on Main Street.


Strong Roots

A fountain honoring Tom’s late mother, Betty Stainsen Graham, was installed and stands today as a proud reminder of the Graham Family’s deep roots in the community. As the years passed and Graham Real Estate signs went up, Tom’s business became a trusted pillar in the community.

In 2015 Tom was joined by his son Nate Graham in the family business “Most of these people have been employed with Graham Real Estate since before I was born, and have influenced me in every season of my life, becoming both my greatest mentors and respected colleagues.”
