Brought up on Big Band music, Georgina worked for many years as part of the highly regarded Wigan Jazz Club Band. But she harboured a desire “to wear a posh frock” rather than be the same as “the lads in the band”. Georgina made a dash for the front mike and her career path changed forever. Her first CD, “Till There Was You”, landed her dream job as resident singer with the Ronnie Scotts Jazz

Orchestra, were she performs most months. Last year her long awaited second album “Watch What Happens” was given great acclaim. BBC Radio 2 performances included a duet with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Steve Vintner Trio.
