The Tennis Centre at Reunion ® Resort
Our award-winning Tennis Centre has 6 state-of-the art clay “Hydro-Grid” tennis courts, equipped for night play, so when you are ready, we are ready. We offer private and group lessons and clinics for adults and children, targeted to all levels, from beginners to the advanced player, taught by USPTA certified pros. We have a full-service, fully-stocked Pro Shop with everything you need to begin your game or to upgrade your equipment or wardrobe. Professional racquet stringing is available, and we have a top-of-the- line ball machine and racquets for rent. Our Pro Shop staff will be happy to help you with all of your needs.
Meet our Pro Jamie Feagan At the helm of Reunion’s tennis program is Jamie Feagan. Jamie is not only an accomplished teaching professional but also an accomplished player. He was a four year starter for the top 5 NCAA-ranked, University of North Florida. After achieving his Bachelor’s degree, he started his teaching career at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. Jamie then opened the Reunion Tennis Centre in July 2006. This lefty, who was born and raised in Florida, continues to play at the national level where he has earned year-end national rankings in the top 5 singles for the past 3 years and year-end doubles rankings in the top 3.

Drill Clinics This co-ed clinic is held daily from 9 – 10 am and is for levels 3.0 and above (we average between a 3.5 – 4.5). You will be instructed for 25 – 30 minutes of line drills and ball hitting, followed by 30 – 35 minutes of fun, instructional-style games and drills. This up-tempo clinic will get you moving and sweating. Member $20 | Guest of Member $20 | Resort Guest $30 Cardio-Tennis Clinics This all-level clinic is held Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 – 9am. In this clinic, we focus completely on the cardio aspect of tennis with high-energy fitness activities that will have you burning calories to upbeat music. This clinic gets you out of the gym and onto the court doing stations, fast pace drills and hitting a lot of balls in a one hour class. Member $20 | Guest of Member $20 | Resort Guest $30
New-to-Tennis Clinics This is a one hour clinic designed for the true beginner. We will teach you the proper way to hold your racquet, hit basic tennis strokes and learn more about our program and what we have to offer. Following your clinic, you will be fitted and given guidance and a recommendation for a racquet that is suited specifically for you. Member $20 | Guest of Member $20 | Resort Guest $30
If you are unsure of your level, or your child’s level we suggest that you set up a half-hour private lesson before signing up. This ensures that everyone in each class is of similar levels. We offer a half-hour private lesson for any clinics with one participant. We would be happy to arrange a six week drill for your own foursome at a time that is convenient to you. If you have any questions or comments about our program, please do not hesitate to tell our tennis staff. All Adult Clinics are one hour and require advanced sign-up. All Drill-Clinics are subject to time change. Please call in advance to confirm time. You must be 16 years or older to participate in Adult Clinics.

Court Fees There will be a fee for play. Fee includes a two hour court reservation time and is good all day. You may play in the morning and again at night for only one charge. Lights may be requested for night play by calling the Pro Shop at 407.662.1630 before closing time. If a rental racket is needed then they are complimentary with a paid court fee. Balls must be purchased or a ballhopper rented.

Register at the front desk or inquire about other opportunities on these special weekends. Exhibitions Once a month, our outstanding staff, along with some of the top players from the area, show you tennis at the highest caliber. Please ask about our upcoming exhibition dates. Ball-machine The ball machine is available for rental, and is reserved based on court availability. Guests are asked to please pick up the tennis balls when you are finished. Top Guns This is an invitational clinic consisting of juniors looking to take the next step into state and national-ranked tournaments. In this hour-and-a-half clinic, they will learn how to hit great shots while doing drills and playing games that will get them ready for the next level. H o t- S h o t s Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:45 – 6pm for children ages 8 – 14. “Hot Shots” are juniors who are working hard on their game and already know how to play and swing properly. This clinic gives them a true idea of what it is like to be a competitive tennis player. They will start drilling more and playing competitive games, all while having fun. F u t u r e St a r s Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4 – 4:45pm for children ages 4 – 8. Because your child’s basic skills are still being developed, they will be hitting pressure-less tennis balls. These are used to give them a larger target which promotes a positive learning experience. They will also be playing games to improve their eye-hand coordination and also their competitive spirit. All pricing is per person, and in addition to the daily room rate. All packages must be reserved through the Director of Tennis and are based on availability. All complimentary court time is based on daily use.
tennis etiquette Dress Code: USTA attire only. Tops: Shirts must be worn at all times. No cut-off shirts, tank tops, sports bras or bathing suit tops allowed. All sleeveless tops must have a finished sleeve. Bottoms: Gym shorts and skirts allowed. No bathing suit bottoms allowed. Shoes: Only flat-soled tennis shoes may be worn. No running shoes or cross-trainers may be worn, as they dig up the courts and can roll-over, causing ankle injuries. Should you have questions about the proper attire, please contact the Tennis Pro Shop. No-Show: There is a cancellation/no-show fee without 24-hour prior notification. You will be charged 50% of the scheduled lesson/clinic. Rentals: There are rental racquets available for play. $8 for the day. Are included with court fee paid.
