Rainwater Harvesting & Condensate Water Recycling
Rainwater is captured and stored through the drain pipes on the building's roofs and other accessible means. The stored rainwater is then passed through a filter to clean it for usage in daily operations at public areas as well as for gar dening.
Since the hotel’s pre-opening days, rainwater has been harvested for use in a landscape irrigation system, meant for biodiversity landscaping around the hotel and in a cooling tower.
Water Restrictors
The hotel has implemented the use of water restrictor, also known as water regulator or flow controller. It is a device that regulates the flow rate of water through sink outlets.
An original sink uses 20 litres of water per minute. With water restrictors installed, the hotel’s sink outlets have reduced to only 9 litres of water per minute saving 11 litres per minute per usage.
