• If you are 24 or over you may qualify for the new 24+ Advanced Learning Loan which could make starting college even easier for you. You can apply for this from 14 April for courses starting August 2014 and onwards to help with your tuition fees. • Most students aged 24 and over, studying at Level 3 and above, will qualify for these new loans from the UK government. • It is easy to apply. Your household income is not taken into account and there is no credit check. You will not have to pay the loan back until your income is over £21,000 a year. For more information please contact our Student Finance Officer Jo Bowman on 01476 400281.
Finance Reduce your Fees Part-Time courses at Grantham College have always represented great value and there are a variety of ways in which you can reduce the cost of learning even further.
Fee concessions If you are in receipt of certain benefits you may be eligible for FREE or substantially reduced tuition fees on many courses run by the college. Check the list below to see if you are eligible. To take advantage of fee concessions you will need to provide appropriate proof of entitlement when you enrol – the college cannot accept an enrolment without proof being provided. For further details, Freephone the Information, Advice, Guidance & Enrolment Team on 0800 0521 577.

Childcare Stepping Stones Nursery is the partner nursery for Grantham College. The nursery is a short distance from the college grounds and provides fulltime day care for children aged from birth to 11 years old. Stepping Stones aims to provide a secure, caring and stimulating environment in small, homely, age-specific areas. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace and to fulfil their potential in all areas of development. In August 2010 the nursery was graded Outstanding by Ofsted. Nursery opening times are 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Nursery fees are charged at £4.50 per hour, although discounts are offered for Grantham College students. Parents are welcome to view the nursery at their convenience – appointments are not necessary. For more information please contact the nursery on 01476 593643.
