CASE STUDY My employer Moy Park was looking at external methods for staff development, and came across the ILM Management courses at Grantham College. This course was chosen as it best suited our needs and it offered a general overview on all areas of day-to-day management.

Stacie McNally

One of my favourite parts of the course was being able to speak with managers from different organisations to discuss different management styles; it was highly beneficial as it allowed me an insight into how other people manage. Also as the lecturer had first-hand

experience of working in industry they were able to relate course units specifically to my role. Completing the course has helped me to progress within my career, as it enabled me to improve my ability to achieve and improve in my then role as department manager; I have since been promoted four times and am now the Supply Chain Manager! After the experience of completing a professional management course through Grantham College, Moy Park also ran a bespoke training course at team leader level through the Business Development Centre.
