Continue to Find Encouragement and Strength Through God Our Father
Reverend and Mrs. Sheldon Cooper & Family
From the Desk of Reverend Sheldon Cooper
Greetings,
Grace and Peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
It is with deep joy and gratitude that we commemorate the 130th anniversary of our beloved church. Over the years, this community of faith has been a beacon of light, hope, and love, touching the lives of many and spreading God's message of salvation.
As we reflect on the journey that has brought us to this significant milestone, we are reminded of the faithfulness of God and the dedication of all those who have labored tirelessly to build and sustain this church. From humble beginnings, we have witnessed the hand of God at work in miraculous ways.
Our church's legacy is not only one of longevity but also of transformation, as lives have been changed, souls have been saved, and the kingdom of God has been advanced through our collective efforts. We have weathered storms, celebrated victories, and grown stronger together as a family united in faith.
As we look to the future, let us be inspired by the past and recommit ourselves to the vision which God has called us. May we continue to be a shining light in our community, a source of comfort to the hurting, and a beacon of hope to those in need.
On this special occasion, let us give thanks for all that has been accomplished, pray for guidance and wisdom in the days ahead, and rededicate ourselves to serving God with all our hearts, minds, and souls.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Pastor Clarence Moore and the Good Shepherd Baptist Church for being our Special guests today. I also want to thank our Anniversary chairperson Cindy Beck, co-chair Shandrea Herrington, the Youth and Young Adult Ministry, the church support staff and everyone who helped to make this program a success, for their tireless efforts, dedication and sacrifices.
In His service,
Reverend Sheldon Cooper

A Message from the First Lady of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church
All praises and glory belong to our God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all the wonderful things He has done!
Happy 130th Anniversary my dear brothers and sisters of Galilee!! The Lord has blessed us to serve Him another year in this designated ministry and I am truly thankful! Now, as we move forward, let us constantly praise Him and keep our minds focused on doing His will. Let us daily ask Him to lead us in this ministry to accomplish what He desires and has planned and purposed for us to do because we know according to Jeremiah 29:11 that He has a plan for each of us. Let us never forget that we are to love and care for each other as well as faithfully tell others about our Savior and share the gospel so that they may also be saved!
May God’s favor and blessings be on you and your families eternally.
Sincerely,
Germaine Cooper Sis. Germaine Cooper
